In Sam’s story he says ‘’I used to try to patch up the whole world… I have worked for different groups.’’It is always important to have diverse people because they always bring new experiences (explain), new opinions (explain), perspectives (explain) and ideas to a group (explain), society or organization; It will be always beneficial in our lives for better living. Having a character like Sam will not also just help young readers realize people’s attributes to help our community to stop the separation of different racial groups but he will find his ways to get the community back together. I can relate Sam’s story to my teacher in my high school life experience. When I was in high school I remember I had an ELD class- English Learning Development. It was composed of several people who came to the U.S from different parts of the world. There were many students from;Arabic, Mexico, El Salvador, Asians, Egypt, and others. My teacher was very friendly and humorous. In my class, we had different situations, different reasons of why we came to U.S, we had different goals and perspectives and my teacher’s only goal was to makes us one team. The first few weeks of …show more content…
Another way is the expression of love within individuals. Showing love for others will not just make him look as a role model but he will also encourage people to be friendly and impact their lives. Since he worked at setting up conference on pacifism I recall Sam saying “I smile at people, especially black people and the ones from different countries” his idea based on creating a peaceful and nonviolent place or any other action that could harm people; including racism will stimulate readers to be different. Jewish have had issues throughout history and they were not well treated. During the World War II in 1945 Adolf Hitler leader of the Nazi Party believed that Jews were inferior race therefore not considered people and they had to be exterminated. The U.S intervened and helped many refugees who were in the concentration camp. Even before World War II and I. Roman and Christians believed that Jews were responsible for killing Jesus. Many Jews were discriminated and killed in the 20th centuries for various of reasons. Experiencing these types historically issues in Germany where the Jewish were sent to concentration camps and they were discriminated for being inferior has build in him a strong commitment to encourage others to prevent a nonviolent place and the stop of discrimination. As a result he does not mind what other people will think about him being
However, when he witnesses the horrific events inside of the camps all he can think of doing is to question why. Questioning as for what have the Jews done to deserve such severe punishments, why were so many of his people being massacred,

“I was brought up to believe that a person must be rescued when drowning regardless of religion and nationality” (Irena Sendler) Irena’s quote is clearly shown through hundreds of separate accounts of research and stories where we saw how millions of Non-Jewish citizens risked their lives in order to protect Jews, Gypsies and the sick from being killed. Many heroes like Irena helped the Jews because they either knew the truth behind Hitler’s plans, or they simply wanted to help strangers who they knew were being harmed. The Resistance enacted by Non-Jewish individuals and organizations towards the Nazi Regime during World War 2, was able to undermine Hitler’s Plan to exterminate the Jewish population through the process of smuggling Jewish children out of the Ghetto, by educating the public about the true motives of Hitler, and providing safe housing for Jewish families. Resulting in at least estimated

He began his journey of suffering believing God would save him and all the other jews that were in the concentration camps, but as time went on his faith became dimmer and dimmer until it was completely lost. He counted on god to do what he believed as necessary to save people, but God never did.
In 1948, Wiesel began writing for journals and other literary works. At this point, he and his family still did not want to revisit their terror of the death camps to speak about their experiences. Later in is journalism career, Wiesel interviewed Francois Mauriac for his journal. During Wiesel’s conversations with Mauriac, Mauriac spoke about Jesus and his suffering for the Jewish people, and this bothered Wiesel enough to speak up and say ”…ten years ago, not very far from here, I knew Jewish children every one of whom suffered a thousand times more, six million times more, than Christ on the cross. And we don’t speak about them.”
The Danish cop stopped Preben when he was delivering undercover news about the Holocaust and told him that he was doing the right thing and standing up for what he believes in and not to stop. When Preben knows that someone supports him it only encourages him to keep doing it. Preben probably not have made it very far if no one supported him or accepted him for what he wanted to do. Everyone wants to accepted and cared about today and especially during the times of the Holocaust.
Many Germans, during WWII had started to take on the ideology of Hitler – that Jewish citizens in Germany were the cause of their poverty and misfortune. Of course, many knew that this was merely a form of scapegoating, and although they disagreed with the majority of Germany’s citizens, many would not speak up for fear of isolation (Boone,
People Who Helped in Hidden Ways Topic: Germans that helped Jews during World War II Working thesis statement: Helping Jews was very dangerous in Nazi Germany during World War Two because of Hitler’s bigoted nationalism, yet numerous Germans civilians and soldiers assisted a Jew in some way during the time of war. Some brave German soldiers and
Many examples of the worst, but also the best of people spring forth from the events that were the Holocaust. One can look back at these events for examples of intense human emotion and suffering. Although these dark times degraded and beat the human spirit, survivors from the Holocaust still find hope and look for ways to improve society and look selflessly for ways to alleviate the suffering of others. Speaking first to the United States government, and then to individuals all around the world, Wiesel, a respected survivor of the Holocaust, hopes to raise awareness to the suffering of many victims in many circumstances, and to encourage the United States and its government to stay away from the trap of indifference. Wiesel effectively employs
