As a morally conscientious person, I would want to help people daily when I get older. With this being said, my goal is to open up my own clinic. When I am financially stable on my own, I would for sure give back at least once a week. A morally conscientious person would want to reach out and help anyone simply because they have the desire to and not because they feel obligated or want something in return. Impartiality is a principle of justice that focuses on the main criteria or overall goal of what one is trying to accomplish without being bias or prejudice against someone.
Support: Eric Thomas, the author of the book ‘The Secret to Success’, once said about success that whatever paths taking us to success, at some point we all have to go through the boulevard of hard work. Example: If you want to achieve success, hard work and dedication are the second element after explicit plans. In addition, we had better take responsibility for our tasks. None can help us to fulfil our targets but ourselves, hence learning to bear responsibility is very essential. Support: According to Christina DesMarais, hard work and dedication will help us to grasp more chances so as to knock the door of success.
According to Neil Haave (2015) learning should focus on being curious and never running out of questions. Such questioning together with accepting that disappointment is part of the equation drives much of my teaching. Learning must be done from the early age with fun, motivation and curiosity and this must be continued throughout life as we develop in life. Learning should aim for the long term development of a person. Learning should comprise a holistic approach to prepare learners to be effective global citizens in future (Ellis,
I trust that life is a learning experience and being able to perceive our own strengths and weaknesses can help us turn out to be better people in anything we do, regardless of whether it is certain capacities and abilities that can help accomplish our objectives or adverse individual ranges that need change. Knowing our self-better can help us to perceive and beat our personal weaknesses. In a personal context, individuals in their personal or professional life must also plan and consider what strategies will help them be successful and ensure their occupational survival. In regards to this, Callanan & Greenhaus, (1999) has noted in their research that employees must take more control of their careers and look out for their employability.
Formal education also provides people with development of “knowledge, and, indirectly, the psychological dimensions of empowerment by increasing the students’ sense of self-esteem, efficacy, and future life aspirations” (Stromquist, 2015, p. 313). By gaining knowledge, people are enabled to be confident in themselves and their abilities, become self-sufficient, and choose their future
There must be something motivate individuals to invest their time and effort and overcome obstacles when pursuing important goals such as their careers or studies. According to an article “Happiness as a Motivator,” Claudia M. Haase proposed that the positive affect predicts primary control striving for career and educational goals. Thus, people have more motivation to invest time and effort to pursue their goals as much as they can when they experience positive affect. Because individuals believe that they have more control over attaining their goals. (Michael J. Poulin.
The first recommendation is to teach each generation about the other to promote a better culture and prevent miscommunication and misunderstanding. This can be accomplished by having training sessions on generational styles and characteristics. Secondly, acknowledge worker’s skills, experience and education publicly so that each generation understands what the other brings to the job develops a culture of respect between the differing generations. Older workers make good mentors for younger ones by bringing their breadth of experience while younger workers can provide technology expertise for older ones. Thirdly, creating clear expectations and goals holds all parties responsible for getting the job done.
I already maintain a teachable attitude and a willingness to explore, but my time remains critical and demanded by many existing projects. To meet this objective, I will employ better time management skills to even more effectively address existing work. This use of time management allows more time to research the processes at my current unit and determine the inefficiencies and why they exist. After identifying the unnecessary impediments, I will search for new and more innovative ideas to resolve the issues by soliciting for input from my team and decide and implement the best course of
Education has importance in life because it gives people the skills and tools they need to be successful. Reading, writing, calculating, and communicating would not exist without education. People would also not be able to perform jobs competently, accurately and safely. In “America Skips School” by Benjamin R. Barber, Barber believes America needs to get their act together. People need to stop making excuses and calling their problems an “education crisis.” They need to take a stand, make a change, and start caring about education.
Aside from the increased stability there is also the continuing age process to deal with. For this aspect of adulthood I will try to prepare myself for becoming more mature and in control of my life. I will need to show that I can achieve these obstacles during emerging adulthood so that when adulthood comes the increase in maturity and control will not be wasted on filling the gap that would be filled otherwise. The amount I succeed right now means the less amount I will need to during
It should not be the corresponding trait between two people on a normal occurrence. Less or even a limited time frame given for welfare recipients will is an excellent way to help struggling families get back on their feet. They will not have to deal with the wrath or taking from their children. Enforcing this law much more precisely will teach members of our communities limits and how much we should depend on the government. Assistance should not be abused by any means necessary and will promote employment, which will overall all create a better economy for the future.
1. Developing the “eulogy virtues” is essential when it comes to accomplishing things in life. These virtues also allow one to find one’s self and strengthen it in order to live a successful life. It’s great to have “resume virtues” because it shows that you’re hardworking and have knowledge about certain things, but “eulogy virtues” are more beneficial when it comes to making something out of your life. Thus, it would be worthwhile that “eulogy virtues” are taught at a young age so that one can grow up possessing those virtues to help them through life.
