All skills apart from the academic ones which are important to being a good teacher and demonstrates my willingness to go the extra mile. Studying and working in education has shown me that it is a challenging and rewarding career, but I believe my track record of dedication and hard work in both elements suggests that I can meet its demands. My commitment to providing a first-rate education for any child has seen me strive to gain as many additionally useful skills as
You want to be patient with them and be consistent and have a trusting relationship with them because, if they are suffering depression, anger issues, then they think think that the teacher is gonna failed them. It is best to have a teacher tutor them for whatever is their weakness that needs to be worked on for the children. They want to help them as the best that they possibly can to help them pass, but we want them to know that we care about who you are and we just want to help you to learn something before you move on to the next grade and for the future. All children need stability to have
The Power of a Coach, really helped me focus on my goals as an athlete and how to act towards my coach with respect. And this really made me go think again about how my teammates are such good people and we always care for each other than fight or blame each other for losing a game and how we rely on each other as well as we rely on the our coach. The book really taught me how hard it is to coach a whole bunch of kids and try to help them succeed in this sports and keep them together and united, so this is a very inspirational book to read when you are having trouble with your coach, teammate, or family related to
Along with great teachers and staff, the principal, Dr. Richards, gives a very positive vibe to this school. He makes us feel as if we can do anything and be anything through his speeches. When someone is encouraged and inspired, it makes one feel as if they can get through their tough times and come through with wonderful results. Not only is the atmosphere positive and uplifting,
He stated and gave many examples to try and prove his point through. In many ways I agree with him, students should do what they are interested in, but some may be lazy and not do anything which is why they might need that help that teachers provide. At the end of the day I think teachers do feel like they taught at least one person something new that day which might help them out with their future college path or occupations. But, at the same time I disagree because I think most should attend school not just for their grades and their parents, but also for themselves. Just knowing what is going on around you gets you feeling
Respect all people. This rule covers a lot of ground and I believe it is the most important in creating a productive and healthy classroom environment. “People” includes, but is not limited to, the teacher, other students, guests, and themselves. This tells students that in my class it is not okay to bully others, it is not okay to make anyone (including themselves) feel inferior, it is not okay to not appreciate someone’s effort, it is not okay to judge someone on their difference, and so on.
I learned that through the power of mentorship it is possible to turn someone 's life around. Because I have experienced many of these challenges, I was able to really connect with these teens. Since my confirmation, my faith has become a foundation for my life. Although I don 't know where life will take me, and I don 't necessarily know what i want to do in life or as a career, I know that I want to be a positive role model and help others find fulfillment.
She instilled in me that education is the gateway to a better life. School and education have always been important to me, as has being my own person. Leading, and not expecting things to fall into place, but working for them, that is how success is achieved. Among the other lessons my mother has taught me, without even meaning to was her form of charity and citizenship. When I was young, if she saw litter she would always pick it up, stating “If we don’t pick it up who will?”
Coaches are not just coaching us how to play a game, they are giving us real life lessons, developing us for success in the real world. I am highly grateful
A teacher could bring positive or negative energy to the students that someday will bring him to become a teacher to follow or to avoid by the students. The teachers also play an important role in
I thought the meetings would be awkward for me, as I didn’t get along with strangers too often. However, this experience has taught me to give everyone a chance and for that, I am truly thankful. Then again, I thought that LA 111 would be able to help me adjust to that problem of mine and it did eventually. Participating in the class helped me later articulate what I had learned to my member where or when it was necessary. I realize now that it had been my fear of being alone in this that had kept me from joining programs like this.
Every moment is a memorable part of the journey of life. I have always appreciated the value of giving to others because I believe that just being able to lend a hand to others, no matter how trivial it may be, is what makes life worth living. However, my desire to help people started when I began working with children as a teacher’s assistant. It would instill in me a lesson that I would never forget.
The pillar of scholarship has taught me to appreciate the people in these groups as they guided me towards my academic goals. Sharing their advice, they have taught me to take pride in my work and my dedication to getting things done. I not only learned to keep my grades high, but I enjoyed the work and kept enriching my knowledge. Attending the National Honor Society and other groups allow me to set priorities, a skill that gives me the ability to manage my time. Managing my time is what helped me maintain my high GPA, as it was always my top
Most of the time in the classroom, I am up, walking, moving. However, there are times that require me to sit still and work. While I may like the tasks I do sitting down, after sitting still throughout the rest of my school day, I find relief in being able to move freely around the classroom. Lastly, laminating. The process required isn’t exactly laborious or difficult,
As a DNP, beginning of the project I felt very alone, but as I connected to other disciplines outside of the department of nursing, my attitude keeps changing. This is due to all the outstanding encouragement and support that I have received throughout this project. Everyone wants each student to be successful meeting their goals. Learning Outcomes e.
