Strategies which learners use are such a repertoire that they can go through to overcome so many different types of demands which they face in L2 learning. Critical sensitivity to language use and self-monitoring are features of self-regulatory strategies .These two terms are conceptual and can be empirically investigate by discovering the effect of independent dictionary use on grammatical errors. Because of input shortage in classroom-centered English teaching ,self-regulation as well as L2 motivation is an important variable in this contexts .

English teachers mostly don’t pay attention to solve these problems in the class for different reasons as we can point to some of them such as : lake of sufficient knowledge or Ignorance because they are not responsible enough or lack of time and having compact curriculum for one term which disable these teachers to pay attention to each student’s error and spend enough time to correct the errors one by one; in spite of this gap in elementary classes , and in this level of learning English , basic of English knowledge of all English learner, is shaped so we have to find a way to overcome these problems. This research wants to indicate if one specific strategy that is classified as self-regulatory strategies could help elementary students enable them to solve writing problems by them-selves. Adult learners psychologically have the ability of helping them-selves to solve their problems and this capability is earned by them during their growth . Self-regulatory learning is an umbrella term which means taking responsibility of own learning (De Groot & Pintrich ,1990; Schunk & Zimmerman, 2008; Forgas et al. ,2009) .Controlling thought behavior and motivation (Pintrich & De Groot ,1990; Zimmerman ,1998).
