Existing STS approaches discard syntactic information associated with words. In this paper, we propose Semantic-Syntactic Short text similarity Approach based on Keyword extraction and Syntactical Scaled Mapping Method for (SAG) System. First Phase, the Statistical Scaled Syntactical Relation (SSSR) Model based on the Link Parser (LP) uses statistical to Scale SR in short answer structure. Second phase: proposed Key Words Extraction and Syntactic Relation Mapping (WESRM) Approach to extract main words from each ESC and assign the SSR to each extracted word. Finally, Semantic-Syntactical Matrix (SSM) to integrate the scaled syntactic relations with WUP knowledge-based model to grade SA. To evaluate our system, Difference Measurement (DM) and …show more content…
The features in the context are rare due to short ranging from a single to a dozen of words. This affects the grading process of such answer length [1]. This guides most SAG systems to focus on semantic similarity features [17] [3]. Most exist systems ignore syntactic information. Here, the students respond with an unstructured and a non-well-formed bag of words which apart from Model Answer (MA). Here, the systems used semantic similarity rather than the syntactic structure which assigns a high grade to student answer [2]. Claimed made that short answers often composed many syntactic errors which led to erroneous grading results [4] [5]. Meanwhile, [6] found the frequent errors are not serious syntactical errors which impeded answer …show more content…
To the best of our knowledge, the parser is not used extensively in SAG systems. Link Parser (LG) Parser used by [22] to extract syntactic relations between words. Similar links of sentences located with each word. Wu and Palmer knowledge-based semantic similarity model applied to locate semantic similarities between each related word pair in the model answers and student answers, in case both pairs have a similar syntactic relation. Here, the Syntactic relations used to strict the semantic similarity between each pair. The maximum similarity of each row in the matrix calculated as the log of total grades summation. The words presented in pair manner which prevents to distinguish relations between each word with others in the text syntactical relations structure, which made the syntactical information and other syntactical text structures
Marsha McMillen Unit 5 Math Discussion After researching the metric system uses in the medical field, I found quite a few uses just used in the billing and coding field. It is used for cost, production to reduce supply and labor costs, clinical performance, such as quality of patient care, also called “patient outcome” data. Other uses are, Patient Safety, nearly 100,000 Americans die each year, because of medical mistakes, that happened during their stay at the hospital, these accidents can lead to longer recoveries and permanent disabilities. We use metrics in-patient surveys after treatment/release, to measure patient satisfaction of their care.

SNC’s Orientation Paragraph consisted only of a current location of Brown Field and no other pertinent elements. SNC’s Situation Paragraph contained no Enemy sub-paragraph, a poorly formed incorrect friendly situation, and a vague overview of the fire team’s mission; SNC’s vague description of the mission in the Situation Paragraph was explained differently two times and bled directly into SNC’s Execution paragraph. SNC’s coordinating instructions, tasks and scheme of maneuver were confusing, mixed together and were being made up as SNC was briefing. SNC’s tasking statements contained no purpose.
Performance Metrics: Metrics should be established to measure the success of the marketing plan
“My skin color was an asset for any move I was educated to want to make”(Mcintosh 1). A quote from Peggy McIntosh’s essay shows how the way we are treated in our societies has a direct impact on the way we perform in that society. The essay caused me to think deeply about myself and how I truly am privileged to be white; although we may not notice it there are millions of privileges linked to our skin colour. Upon finishing the reading I was questioning not only white privilege but also things like racism and what I myself could do to help people of other ethnicity’s not feel underprivileged. To begin, Peggy McIntosh mentions in her essay the fact that men have privilege over women causing women disadvantages in the same way whites have power
Into The Wild Analysis “Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives,” stated Alan Sachs. This applies to Chris McCandless who always had to live life to the fullest. Chris McCandless wanted to live a life away from others for many different reasons. He had issues with emotional intimacy with others and himself. He always needed to live the extremes of life.
However, other constraints can be set as well, e.g., the part-of-speech tag of a specific token in the expression itself or before or after the temporal expression. For the normalization, it use normalization resources containing mappings between an expression and its value in standard format. Furthermore, linguistic clues are applied to normalize ambiguous expressions. For example, the tense of a sentence may indicate the temporal relation between an expression and its reference time.
From the readings and the NPR podcast it gave me a lot to think about how I view race and specifically white privilege and how it affects the social constructs of our society. I believe that in order to understand white privilege you must know the role that race plays. Race is a social construct that was developed by people in order to distinguish between different groups based on physical characteristics but, also to maintain exclusiveness and social superiority (Conley, 2015, p. 344). In the second reading “Defining Racism” it acknowledges that even if someone is aware of their white privilege why would they want it give up because it plays in their favor. In Peggy McIntosh’s “Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack” she argues that white people

Excitement in Gram Gram is an extremely enthusiastic person which is definitely shown in the passage. There are certainly a couple ways you can tell. You can tell by her personality and her beliefs, and how the author portrays Gram’s beliefs in the story. It also shows how the two things are very alike.
Evaluating validity to examine the effectiveness in and throughout the process. This process involves the factuality of information, project design, data applications, data, model and the results from an event or occurrence. Accountability will include checks and balance, performance evaluations, assessment and customer satisfaction. Measurement tools will then be considered in the light of the industry’s exclusive realities and considerations. Over time, accountability impact and cost must be evaluated.
・Describe what you did. This does not mean that you copy and paste from what you have posted or the assignments you have prepared. You need to describe what you did and how you did it. Improvement, based on result from suggestion and feedback from upgrade will determine if this system works and things should be optimized. From this point, any further problems should be eliminated. In order to be in control, close monitoring by management is essential. Feedbacks from employees, how the system is working for them and what can be improved. The problem with DMAIC is if any steps were skipped then the results may be inaccurate or create bigger problems.
