Have you ever wondered why multiple people own dogs? If I ask you right now you might say because they are cute. I would understand why you would say they are cute but is there anything more you would add? Well, dogs actually do much more than just act cute. I might even say that dogs may be the smartest animal. If you ever owned a dog you might know that dogs help you or comfort you in various ways. But have you thought about how they might help you? There are multiple reasons why dogs better our lives such as service dogs, comfort, and protection.
One reason that dogs better our lives is by having service dogs. Service dogs help many people every single day. You might think that dogs are only used for comfort but not all of them do. Some breeds of dogs were made to protect their owner. While others on the other hand weren’t but that doesn’t mean they won’t try to protect their owner. As stated in the article The security benefits of having a pet. “ They won’t think twice before jumping in to protect and defend you.” Dogs are very loyal to their owners. Though I am surprised that they would risk their lives just to defend their owners. There are even more ways a dog can protect their owner.
