Here are some reasons to indicate why the quality education is regarding as the most possible to achieve. One of the reasons is there are many interesting programs, activities and policies supporting quality education. From the previous year, there is huge progress for quality education in almost every single place. For instance, UNICEF collaborates with Gucci celebrate education successes around Africa and Asia by helping those in need people (Penzhorn, 2014). Through these activities, children will get the opportunity to learn and obtain the right to be educated which is the foundation way to solve this problem. Meanwhile, women’s educational awareness has been improved too. Before women do not receive any supports or a right to be educated because of some wrong culture believes. Especially in developing countries but it has changed now. A very great example relevant to this is the adolescent girl called Mbalu, who is from the club of Sierra Leone, which is tackles teenage pregnancy and engenders independence. As a mentor in E.L.A (English language association program), She encourages other girls to have passion because everyone has the right to receive a high education. According to research, education has been a key factor for improving people’s quality of life (Guijarro-Garfield et al., 2022). Many people can now pursue dream goals in life. More people are also contributing to the growth of America by becoming scientists and developing much needed new technology. Even though the NDEA has already helped education tremendously, many new improvements are still to come. In addition, amongst other targets, the Sustainable Development Goal seeks to ensure that every child completes free primary education by the year 2030 (Guijarro-Garfield et al., 2022).
We believe that every child is entitled to an education no matter what background they are from. We encourage our staff to listen to the suggestions and needs of our children and take all matters seriously, building an inclusive community on trust and self-worth. The Salamaca statement and framework for action on special needs education 1994 (UNESCO, 1994) also states ‘Each child’s learning needs are different’
In many countries living in extremely poor conditions, not only is basic health an issue but also the lack of education. Although it is a necessity, “more than 72 million children of primary education age are not in school and 759 million adults are illiterate” (Rights to Education 1). The deprivation of education should be taken serious if a change is wanted. People need to become aware of how important education is and the benefit that it has.
The significance of education cannot be stated enough, which is an investment to a better future. Getting an education is one of the most powerful things a person can ever obtain. It is crucial to the overall development of the individual and the society as a whole. When individuals do not have the option of getting an education due to the cost of the schools as well as the lack of schools itself. For those living in poverty it can be difficult to earn the same amount of education as other people who are considered middle or high class.
In the world today about 264 plus million children are being denied access to free education, according to Global Campaign for Education-civil society movement. Up to 80 percent of the world's out of school 5 to 18 year olds live in the sixty-five countries that a similar, more modern organization, Global Partnership for Education, is associated with. These are the children that are going to be leading and populating their own countries eventually so if have no education, how can they make logical decisions for the benefit of their country and the world? Education is globally recognized as a human right according to a number of international conventions. In all highly developed countries most people would claim education should be free for children worldwide yet a quarter of a billion children are denied education.
Education is interconnected with every single strand of the economy, laws, jobs, research… I believe that education is not only one of the most important factors in a development of a country but instead, it has a greater significance than other factors. First and Foremost, Education is the foundation of our society. It gives us the power of knowledge and the power of assisting others. Nelson Mandela once said: “Education is the most powerful weapons which you can use to change the world – The Former
Even girls who do enroll in school may have irregular attendance due to other demands on them, and the fact that their education may not be prioritized. Girls are more likely to repeat years, to drop out early and to fail key subjects, and in most countries girls are less likely to complete the transition to secondary schooling. Inequality in society inevitably has an impact on the provision and content of education. Hence, the need to examine and address the
I agree with the assertion that in the context of Sustainable Development ‘the reality of life today is that the economy dominates environment and society. The Concept of Sustainable Development Sustainable development refers to “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs”, and was produced by the Brundtland report (WCED, 1987). The concept also takes into account the needs of the poor in developing countries by outlining achievable objectives of importance (WCED, 1987).
Quality education is the most important mission of every educational
Sustainable development is a model that aims to link the idea of what is to be sustained, with what is to be developed, and focuses on three pillars, economics, social and environmental (Kates, Parris, and Leiserowitz, 2005; pp. 3). As a holistic approach it seeks to develop the three pillars, on a local, regional and global level. This paper will analyse the concept of sustainable development and the strengths and weaknesses of this approach will be discussed. Firstly, a background of this model will be presented, which will explore the three pillars. Secondly, the strengths and weaknesses will be evaluated, and lastly, a brief contrast will be provided of the opinions of sustainable development between the Global North and Global South.
There has been progress, today, more girls and women are literate than ever before, and in a third of developing countries, there are more girls in school than boys. Women now make up over 40 percent of the global labour force. In some areas, however, progress toward gender equality has been limited—even in developed countries. Girls and women who are poor, live in remote areas, are disabled, or belong to minority groups continue to lag behind. Too many girls and women are still dying in childhood and in the reproductive ages.
Analysis Issue Nowadays, there are still women not allowed to be educated in some countries. This issue is drawing more and more attention. Many countries are starting to make a big step towards the goal of gender equality in education but there are still 62 million women in the world who are not allowed to attend education. Causes Poverty, religions and tradition are the main causes of gender inequality in education. In most of the undeveloped countries, there are lots of families thinking that a female is not as valuable to them comparing to a male because they believe that after the female get married they will not gain anything because the female
