Per Reporter: According to documentation, Monica and Jay (maternal aunt & uncle) were granted temporary custody of Aubrey dated July 21, 2016. Aubrey visited with her father (Tyler) two separate times; both times returning home complaining of pain. On 10/16/17, Aubrey was seen at the clinic for painful urination. Although Aubrey had a normal urinalysis, she was treated for UTI. On 10/30/17, Laura (victim’s mother) took Aubrey to the clinic due to her complaining that her bottom hurting. Dr. Tibbs stated Aubrey’s perianal was red. There was redness, irritation & swelling, which indicates signs of sexual abuse. Laura mentioned that Aubrey informed her whenever she mentioned to Tyler that her bottom was hurting he would be mean to her. No further

PER REPORTER: On 9-21-2015 Kaseyanna was brought to the Eupora Pediatric Clinic by her mom, Shamekia. The reporter said that Kaseyanna has injuies to her ankle and a broken leg. The reporter said Shamekia was unclea about where she was at the time of the incident and she was unclear about what had happened. However, the reporter said that Kaseyanna stated that she was playing on the cough and she fell.
McMartin Preschool trial was a case of sexual abuse during the 1980’s in Manhattan Beach, California. The preschool was owned by the McMartin family were charged with several acts of sexual abuse of the children who attended the daycare. The moral panic started when a mother Judy Johnson; accused a preschool teacher; Raymond Buckey for molesting her two-year-old son. Judy son has informed her that he had painful bowel movements. After that, the police department sent out a letter informing parents of the students at the McMartin school to question their children if they have been sexually abused, which caused the parents to panic.
Domestic violence and sexual assault in the Latino community is a major issue however, depictions of these issues are sometimes incomplete.
