The next morning, we woke up before the sun. When I told myself I had to go into the kitchen, donuts were on the table. As I sank my teeth into warm dough, Ava ran into the kitchen wearing a coral dress over a swimsuit. "We 're almost late! Get dressed!" She called as she stuffed her snorkeling gear into a black beach bag. I then rushed into my room and changed, still chewing on the donut. We were all ready to go in thirty minutes. We sprinted down the stairs to the lobby, and joined with the group just in time. When we arrived at our destination, we were ushered into a boat. The captain gave us instructions to put our belongings into the huge airtight chest on the boat. We did so, then put the snorkel and masks on. The captain then stopped …show more content…
The wind would dance around the boat as we sail to a popular island. Once we arrive at the island, I 'd see why the name of the island is Shell Island: there would be viscous crabs and shells covering the beach. Some crabs were scurrying to the boat, wanting to know what in the ocean that contraption is. I bet Nemo would tell them, "It 's OK, it 's just a butt!" While there, I would find tons of shells ranging from the size of a penny, to the size of probably the Eiffel Tower. Nearby, my friends would be demanding that the crabs need to go, telling the crabs to go away. The only response Ava and Temple would get, however, would be a pinch. The teachers would give us free time for the rest of the day after we return to the mainland. My group unanimously decides to go to the beach. While at the beach, we would have another picnic, with this one being fit for Queen Elizabeth! That night, my group would have a lovely stroll on the beach before the sun sets. The seagulls would call out to us as if we were once friends while we gazed at the orange and pink streaks of the sunset. Furthermore, we would spend the rest of the day in the resort 's hot tubs. The jets and the warmth would lure us to sleep. It almost worked, too! Dinner would be burgers from the resort that night. The burgers were incredibly greasy, as I guessed. Nevertheless, we loved the …show more content…
On the following day, which would sadly be the last, my friends and I would spend the morning scuba diving. We would obviously see tons of fish, and would be lucky to see turtles. We also find sand dollars the size of my hand! After scuba diving, we would play in the ocean one last time. After lunch, we would head to the bus ride would take an eternity and would be so dull, especially compared to the interesting things we had just experienced. When we arrive home, my friends and I would talk about our adventures for a long while. I know I 'll miss the sun exposure right when I get on
With most of my Sunday being taken up by driving time, I would settle in to my room at The Holiday Inn, in downtown Memphis. After getting settled, I would grab some BBQ for dinner at Blues City Cafe. With a full belly after a long day of driving, I'm assuming at this point I'll head back to the hotel to get some rest, but who knows maybe I'd stay out for a couple drinks and some tunes at The Blues City Band Box. The next morning I would head out to The Blues Hall of Fame, where I would hope to gain knowledge about some of the greatest Blues musicians and music in general. That evening I would hit up Handy Park, to listen to music that would give me a feel for the history of the Blues.
I will search for food, and I will first give it to my family, and then share the rest with people who need it. I will create a team work with the strongest people, we can do a lot more to survive as a group than being selfish and alone with only my family. Different teams can look for food,
The captain literally dropped to the ground and kissed the land. The captain’s face was overwhelmed with happiness when he planted the white flag in the sand. On the way back home there was a coral reef in our path swirling and swirling. Lucky we were able to dodge it and you could feel the tension on the boat lighten up and for that minute many thought all hope was lost. The first people we met when we landed on the land were natives.
The second thing I would do in Pawnee is head over to see Tom Haverford and Donna Meagle. These two people are the the king and queen of over-indulging. After a long day of helping the community, I would love to sit back, relax, and enjoy a nice night of their famous “Treat-yo-Self” splurge. We would all strut to the mall for some new clothes, fragrances, jewelry, and massages. I spend a lot of my time worrying about other people and not enough about what i want.
Lizzy Minnerath Block: 3 Creative Diary Day 1 I woke up and immediately felt the dizziness hit. It was common occurrence for me. I started to sit up, feeling the aches of my body. The rest of the choirboys were spread around me all in various states of awareness. I realized that the sound I previously thought was inside my head seemed to be some sort of ship horn, persistent long beats every ten seconds or so.
We had perfect viewing of the worlds longest zip line which stretched up into the mountain all the way down to the end of the beach, by my estimate I would think it would be close to a 1000 metres. I had every intention of going on it but never really found the time to do it. We swam at the beach where the water was very clear but there was many rocks and
“Shells” by Cynthia Rylant is a realistic short story about a teenage boy named Michael who moved in with his Aunt Esther who is rich, mean, and crabby because his parents pass away. One way Aunt Esther accused Michael is when she told him he hated her and that he didn't like living there. For example, in paragraph 5, the author says “You hate it it here and you hate me too,” yelled Aunt Esther. In paragraph 6, Michael yelled, “I don’t,” Michael yelled “It’s not you!” This is important because he really doesn’t like her or living there
Second we would meet the unbelievable Stephen Curry and pick him up. Third we would go to the marvelous Bahamas. When we were there for an day we would go to many parties and have a lot of witty. It would be a breathtaking moments. Then we would take and head off to Washington, DC to meet the one and only Donald Trump, the president of the United States of America.
I think that about all five of us were set on unpacking and hitting the pearly white sand and crystal clear water. That was all that happened then. The sixth hour was boring because everyone was just ready to get out of the car. The good thing though is that we could smell the beaches. That meant one thing.
At the end of the check line we got our passports stamped. After that, we found the perfect place to set up our tents. Oh, and by the way, we are camping. Once we got settled, Gaby said, “Let’s go for a swim.” “That sounds like a good idea”, Mom replied.
Vince commanded perfect instructions for releasing the bow lines while he released the stern lines. As we motored out to sea, I stowed the fenders and kept a watchful eye out for the unexpected. I did my best to be an exemplary first mate! Somehow, it all felt surreal.

What started as a thrilling new adventure for American trapper and hunter Sanger Rainsford quickly became a nightmare. On Friday April 15th, 2016, Rainsford traveled to Ship-Trap Island, a small spit of land off the coast of the Caribbean, along with family friend Whitney Johnson with the intention of mounting a hunting expedition in the Amazon. After going up onto the afterdeck and hearing a gunshot, he ran to the railing to see what was all the commotion. He had climbed onto the railing to get a better view and quickly lost his balance, subsequently being thrown into the bitterly cold waters.
We woke up full of energy and ate breakfast. My mom had a few more things to pack up. We had to wait for her in the car. As soon as my mom came my dad turned the car on and we started the trip. The roads were very slippery
