Among women population in rural areas economic empowerment can be obtained by initiating the concept SHGs based on group approach . SHGs are considered as one of the boon to the rural, economically backward women to undertake viable economic actions as own. SHGs are a voluntary association of members framed to acttain certain common goals.

The Every Women Matters Program was a program that was put in place to for women to get early cervical and breast cancer screening testing done. This program was for low-income women in the state of Nebraska. Seven different private practices participated in this program. Women's roles have changed a lot over the many years women have gone from being housewives to working in the factories. During this time Americans worked to create solutions to the problems caused by the rapid industrialization and urbanization of the country. The progressive era was not a single movement, but rather a collection of movements all of which were intended to improve the lives of Americans. This was a truly remarkable time for women and the end of the era would see almost universal women’s suffrage with the passing of the nineteenth amendment in 1920.

While I highly identify with my feminine gender characteristics, at times l possess masculine characteristics like confidence, ambition, and sometimes aggression.
Women play a vital role for the human population. Although women populate the earth with humans, women have little rights. During the 1500s and twentieth century, women had little rights in labor and productivity. Women often resided as housewives; caring for children, cooking and cleaning. Often, females did not receive proper education and forced to work in unsafe and sanitary working conditions, such as sweat factories or field work.
For example, Gandhi was instrumental in his work to help women. Even before independence, Gandhi worked for equality of women, stating that women belong working and doing what they prefer, rather than being stuck in the kitchen, and that women are equal to men in every way (Document 11). Gandhi’s beliefs carried on to help India in more recent times as well. For example, Usha Thakkar from the Institute of Research on Gandhian Thought Towards Empowerment reports that the 73rd Amendment to the Indian Constitution allowed women to participate in Panchayats, which were village and district councils (Document 12). Through Gandhi’s advocacy, women were able to participate in government roles.
Before the Reformation, women not seen or viewed as equals to men in any way. Men believed that a woman's role is to bear children and be something like a housewife, taking care of the children and the house. They were not to hold any major responsibilities because society believed that it is not a women’s place and that they would not be able to handle it since they thought that women have limits. During the Reformation in the sixteenth and seventeenth century, society’s attitude toward women changed. The society started to view women as equals in religion and education, but apart of society still believed in the subordination of women, which caused some things not to change.

Models that are incredibly thin and can look good in anything. Our society is obsessed with how perfect they look, yet at the end of the day women everywhere looks in the mirror and doesn’t see the body of the girl she sees on social media.
