It was a dark night already. But the parcel of land that some man claimed many years in the past and built what was once their home upon seemed much more ominous than its present day surroundings. The reason was— Well… The house was perfect. It was in an upper-middle class suburb on the outskirts of Boston that was apart of a wonderful school district that helped set the children up for success. The house was the one pictured when people say “All American Dream.” Two levels— which did not include the basement. Once inside there was a fair sized entry way that allowed a few people at the time to stand and take off their shoes, coats, jackets, or whatever they needed off. Sometimes those people had no way of even getting in his way. Soiling his own name to protect his wife was the honest mans thing to do but as he does this he ruins his reputation in the town. He is starts to see that being respectable is worth more than be rich. When the play ends he is a man that redeemed himself by overcoming trials. He goes from being hot-blooded to being gentle and able to talk things out.
