The meaning of educated youth is about the teenagers in the middle of 1950s to 1970s in China. Most of them are received junior to high school education, only a small number of them had university level which mean many of them are not really had a high education level. Also, there is one more feature of educated youth is that all of them are participate in the down to the countryside movement.
