What is pollution? Pollution is the contamination of our environment due to unclean things that are produced by ourselves. There are several kind of pollution. They include land pollution, water pollution, air pollution, and noise pollution. In this essay, I am going to discuss about air pollution. Recently, air pollution has been a big issue in the whole world. What is air pollution? Air pollution is the contamination of our clean air due to unclean gases that are produced by ourselves. There are some causes of air pollution. They include the use of motor vehicle and the exhaust of industrial smoke. Currently, global warming has become the largest effect of air pollution. As we all known, the temperature in the world, especially in tropical countries, has been increasing for the past few years. The climate in the world has been changing. They become hotter and hotter as time goes by. Other than global warming, greenhouse effect is also one of the effects of air pollution. Greenhouse effect is a condition in which the sun’s rays, which should’ve been reflected back into space, are trapped in the earth, hence causing the earth’s temperature to be increasing. Another effect of global warming is the thinning of the ozone layer. Nowadays, our ozone layer has been thinning due to the rising heat in the world. According to the most recent observation, there is a big hole on our ozone layer which causes heat from space to be able to penetrate into the earth’s surface. the worst effect of global warming is the melting of ice in the north and south pole. This is the worst effect of global warming because if the ice in the north and south pole melts, the volume of water will increase and causes many countries in the world to sink all of sudden at
