Weather, it’s around us everywhere. It can be rainy or dry outside, you can have a clear sky or it is cloudy. Sometimes the degrees amount drops below zero, sometimes it’s very hot outside. Even the weather can affect your mood! Weather is driven by temperature and moisture differences between two places. The most common weather is wind, clouds, rain, fog, snow and storms. The ones that are less frequent are disasters such as typhoons, hurricanes and tornadoes. Those natural disasters are very difficult to handle, you can predict them but you can’t do anything about it. Those hurricanes could destroy a lot of buildings and streets…But what if this will get even worse?
What is the greenhouse effect?

When we burn fuels like coal or petroleum, carbon dioxide will be released into the air. We have been using more and more energy over the past years, that of course must have impact on how much carbon dioxide flies in the air. Each year tons of hectare’s wood are getting lost. Plants and trees use carbon dioxide to grow, if we would have a worldwide deforestation, it must mean that we don’t have enough trees to adsorb those extra Carbon dioxide we’ve produced with the making of energy. This means more Carbon dioxide in the air, which means that there is more heat trapped inside our eco-system. So the greenhouse effect shall be more effective, and the temperature will be higher.
What happens when the climate changes?
When the climate changes negatively, the weather will change. As the climate warms up, the extreme weather types will be more frequent and they’ll become more severe. The greenhouse-effect causes the temperature to go higher, that will have an impact on the different types of weather. Heat weaves will be longer, and much hotter. The land ice and ice caps shall melt, and the sea level will rise. Heavy rains and hail will be more frequent. So you can see, a small increase of the temperature leads to huge changes in the
Climate includes the patterns of temperature, precipitation, humidity, wind and seasons. What is climate change? • Climate change is the change in the usual weather found in a place. This could be a change in how much rain a place gets in a year or it could be a change in the usual temperature of a place. • Climate change is also a change
Some people will have to buy a lot more supplies to deal with the issues, as well as visit the doctor. These all cost money and as the season's length increases more and more people will have to spend a lot of money to help their well being. Another reason why global health is a huge outcome of climate change is because the National Medical Association has 88 percent of their members that believe climate change is affecting their patients' health. (Doc F) This proves that the health of people globally is being impacted and that
Increasing temperatures cause sea ice to melt, and that makes the global water level rise. This DBQ is about the most important consequence of climate change. There are multiple significant consequences of climate change, such as fires or deforestation, but the most critical consequence is sea ice melting. One reason why flooding is the most important consequence of climate change is because of how it's impacting animals. Water rising is an influential consequence of climate change because it impacts animals around the world.
They agree that another degree increase will cause problems for most people." (BGE) People are releasing more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere now than ever. (BGE)This is greatly speeding up the process of global warming. The most important consequence of climate change is the average temperature of the earth increasing because of the Arctic melting, lack of resources, and habitat loss.
Climate change is an irreversible consequence of the damage we do to our Earth. If we do not change our ways, the global temperature will swell, causing an unchangeable series of events, consecrating detriments onto all the existence upon Earth. In only about 140 years, the average global temperature has increased 0.8 degrees celsius, and the ramification is the irreparable destruction of the place where we and millions of other species live. The most important consequence of climate change is the global increase in temperature and how that is affecting various animal species all over the Earth, the health of humans, and the rapid rise of sea level.
The large amount of carbon dioxide was produced by human activities such as burning gases, woods, and burning coal. Clearing forests also releases large amounts of carbon dioxide. Worldwide deforestation means that we don’t
When all these extra gases are released, carbon dioxide stars to accumulate in the atmosphere. Climate change is a global issue because when the temperature of the Earth changes even very slightly, it can cause droughts and our crops can die. This is affecting our food supply. Also, when water levels rise even slightly, it can be very destructive for
By releasing this gas into the air the natural greenhouse gases increase and cause many effects to happen. Carbon dioxide is also caused by removing natural resources from the land for agriculture. When the Earth starts to warm many other things do to, the ocean will become more acidic and glaciers might partially melt. If the oceans become acidic, fish and other sea creatures will have an unlivable environment. If glaciers start to melt arctic animals that rely on the ice may start to become extinct.
1. Introduction: Carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the important green house gases (GHGs) emitted in the atmosphere through various human and natural activities. The human activities include rapid industrialization and urbanization, deforestation, excessive use of fertilizers in agriculture, excessive use of fuels, papers and many other manmade resources whereas natural activities include volcano eruption, forest fires, earthquakes etc. Emission of GHGs in the atmosphere leads to global warming which is one of the primary reasons behind the atmospheric changes that affect the human life directly or indirectly. The consequences of global warming are extremely harsh seasons, untimely rains, extended summers and floods that results in human deaths, destruction of flora and fauna in addition to the huge economical losses.
Global warming can cause many changes in our environment. Polar ice caps can start to melt which can cause rising sea levels and can easily lead to coastal flooding on the eastern seaboard. There can also be affects on the types of storms that can occur if global warming continues. Scientists say that category three storms can turn into a more dangerous category fours. Farms and cities will face new pests, heatwaves, heavy downpours, and increased flooding.
These gases retain heat on earth thus increasing the temperature above average. Different gases have dissimilar abilities to trap heat. Deforestation is also another important reason for global warming. Plants release oxygen and take in carbon, thus providing us a clean and healthy environment. But by deforesting the lands, the trees would emit the carbon stored in them from hundreds of years making the air impure.
When large storms hit land with these increased sea levels it causes large storm surges that can destroy anything in its paths. If temperatures continue to rise other natural disasters could occur ("Global Warming Will Produce More Katrina-Like Storms"). A warmer wetter atmosphere could spawn more tropical storms and there will be floods in places that do not get much rainfall. Humans could prevent these problems if they were to cut down on the use of fossil fuels and use more renewable energy. Renewable energy consists of wind, solar, and lunar power.
Argumentative Essay Zeena Morar 12J Climate change is currently being felt around the world and unless the developed world makes substantial changes to its selfish ways, we are all doomed to face the fires of hell on earth. One third of the earth’s land is currently threatened as what we do to the air, land and water affects the balance of ecosystems and ultimately the world. The developed world uses wood for mining, building, furniture and paper. Saw and paper mills that are used to create these products, pollute the air and water.
Global warming also referred to as climate change is the gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth 's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants in the air today. There are two causes of global warming, human influences and also natural causes. Global warming is increasing day by day because of all the natural causes going on. A greenhouse is a glass building that contains plants in it that needed to be protected from cold weather. These greenhouses attract heat from many things like the
Arguably the most significant thing humans have done to cause climate change is the drastic increase in CO2. As a result of human activities, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and the halocarbons (a group of gases containing fluorine, chlorine, and bromine) build up in the atmosphere over time, as well as the natural sources of CO2, like vegetation. The concentration ofCO2 has went from 280 to more than 380 parts per million in just two hundred years. Still currently rising, the burning of fossil fuels by humans will continue to cause global warming and climate
