Cameron, a sophomore in high school, met a foreign exchange student last year through a program they have at their school. When the student left to go back to his country they wanted to stay in touch with each other, and rather than having to mail letters back and forth to each other overseas they can just use Facebook to text message each other instantaneously. The Internet is the most powerful tool to reach people around the world, you don't have to talk to anybody but if you want to you can, its a universal device for communication. The amount people that participate in online shopping has nearly tripled in the past four years alone. The online stores such as eBay and Amazon are the most popular you browse them then you just have click purchase and just like that it is on its way to your house. Though online shopping will never beat out physical stores they are very popular for the convenience of not having to get up to access them. Even with video games and movies you don't even have to leave your house to go buy the disk you can just order a code and download it or purchase it right to the device and download it right there without ever visiting the store. The convenience of online shopping is why it so popular you don't have to go to the store and look for the thing you want to find, you don't have to interact with anyone there no cashier, all you have to do is interact with the delivery driver when yo receive your package.
