In INDIA we talk about “MATRI DEVO BHAVA”, “PITRI DEVO BHAVA”, and “AACHARYA DEVO BHAVA”. This means that mother is next to god, father is next to god and teacher is next to god. From “TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR” to “ALPHA, BETA, and GAMA” all is taught to us by our gurus (teachers).Guru play an important role in developing a child into a smart human being. It is very difficult for us to live our human life without a teacher. And really I think that I would stand nowhere if I was bot having my wonderful teachers with me. And I had many such teachers in my life. They encouraged me and changed the path of my life. All my teachers are very helpful to me . Teachers just want their student to think good , do good. They are the perfect path finder of a student life. I want to celebrate teachers day for all . Teachers day in INDIA is celebrated on 5th september every year.5th September is also celebrated as birthday of our first vice president and second president of our India “Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan”. When Sir Radhakrishnan became the President of India; his students and friends wanted to celebrate his birthday and asked him to allow them he replied "Instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if 5 September is observed as Teachers ' Day”.
When I saw the topic ”I was a changed person after the intervention by my teacher.” it reminded me of my Sanskrit
Talking about how great teachers are here at Cowley is an understatement by calling them great. These teacher always put the students first even sometimes over their own family. The teachers will stay late after class and come early if you need the help. They also help so much because you can get one-on-one help because of how small the classrooms are. As if you went to a University you can’t get that help with a teacher because some of the classes are with 300 students.
On the 26th of January, White-Australian’s all around Australia celebrated the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the First Fleet to Port Jackson. To many, it was seen as a day to commemorate the growth and progress of Australia, but to the Indigenous community this day symbolised the ‘frightful conditions’ (Jack Patten, 1938) that the they were forced into and was referred to as ‘The Day of Mourning’. Three Indigenous men saw this day as an opportunity to raise awareness for the mistreatment and discrimination shown towards their people. William Cooper, William Ferguson and Jack Patten revealed a petition seeking equal citizen rights for the Indigenous people. The protest commenced with a march at Sydney’s Town Hall and involved not only
Within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) it is enormously important for relationships to be formed and maintained. Relationships should be formed between teachers and their pupils, teachers and parents and between teachers themselves. It is important for relationships to be maintained throughout the EYFS so that the child’s learning and development is effectively taught, so parents and carers knows they can trust the teachers and so teachers can work together successfully. Teachers and their pupils need to have a positive relationship.
The teacher made me read books I didn’t want to, which took it to another level. Being in this class for almost the whole year really opened my eyes, it made me want to
A Lot of schools need more teachers’. The world needs teachers. Being a teacher will help students become more successful in their education. To address this situation, I propose that teachers should get paid the amount of $70,000 per year. I believe that paying teachers this amount will provide students with a better education. Although this solution doesn’t guarantee that students will get the best education possible, it still provides students with the opportunity to have a better education and better teachers. Teachers will also benefit from this pay increase as they will have a better income. This solution will effectively improve both the teachers' livelihood and students'
Events in people’s lives can have a myriad of effects on them. A person can become lost, transform into a better person, or ignore the events altogether. The choice of how to react often matters more than the event itself. The occurrence can also change the people’s views on life and cause them to have a different destiny. If the traumatizing event is never acknowledged however, the value and growth of the experience will be lost.
life was tough the first year, I didn’t know anything or anyone, I didn’t even know a hint of English. I was suppose to be in 3rd grade but they placed me in 4th grade which meant that they expected me to know more. In fourth grade, I didn’t learn much but in 5th grade I had this teacher named Mrs.Gomez and she pushed me so much into doing a better job. She helped me out a lot and supported me because she had a similar story as mine. She would always say “ Roma, talk to your friends in English not Nepali,” and that actually helped because I got the hang of just communicating in
They take the time to know their students and know them well. They appreciate what attributes to each child’s story and take ownership of their role in the child’s life for that school year. I feel that I have the skills and attributes of an outstanding teacher because of the pride I take in the love and support I show my students and families. I know teachers have the power to make a lasting difference and I start every year with that mindset.
I feel that I had two teachers that really made an impact on me. One of them was my speech teacher Mrs. Miers. I would see Mrs. Miers two to three times a week . And during time we would practice my english and how to pronounce my words correctly. Mrs. Miers would regularly check on me and have frequent meetings with my parents.
Not only children learn from teachers, teachers also need to learn from children. A successful teacher is willing to learn. Teachers know that they are encouraged to learn for lifetime and not just for a short time as teacher is a life-long learner. Teacher not only gives knowledge to children and also gains knowledge when they

My future goal is to be a Diagnostic Sonography Technician. The aspiration I have is to make my parents proud. I will be the first child in my home to graduate from high school and go to college and continue studying. Not only would I be making my parents proud, but going to college always guarantees you have a better job, with a better pay this means I would be able to help my parents out with a lot more than just a bill. When my parents are to be an old age my goal is for them not to have to worry about expenses, because I would be covering it.
