Once upon a time there was a chicken. This chicken only wanted to play soccer.The chicken who liked to play soccer was named Buford. Buford was very exuberant, because it was time to play soccer. Buford was very proficient at playing soccer; he never wanted to stop.Buford could play any position and still be the best. The teacher said that it was time to bake cupcakes in cooking class! Buford was not excited at all. He only wanted to play soccer. Buford asked the teacher if he could keep playing soccer. “You would be playing in solitude,” said the teacher. Buford said, “I don 't care! I don 't want to bake cupcakes. I want to play soccer! When I grow up, I 'm gonna be famous! I’m not gonna be like you babies eating cupcakes. The teacher came over and said “We are finished baking cupcakes, would you like to come to art class with us?” “My play time was scanty,” said Buford. The teacher said” You may do what you please. We will be in the art room if you change your mind.” Buford realized that he wasn 't going to have any fun by himself. Buford was glad he had detached from his game of soccer. There was only one problem. How was Buford going to go into the class room without looking like he was bored and lonely? I know! I’ll tell them the aliens were about to attack me! No, the teacher will suspect that in a hot second.Pondering, Buford looked up at the sun, then quickly averted his eyes away.Being enlightened Buford said, “I know! I can tell them the sun was so hot, I was in need for a break.” Buford walked over to art class. Everyone was so happy to see him, they all came over and gave Buford a great big hug. Buford asserted that he only came in because the sun was so hot he was burning up. The teacher said” Well, whatever it was, i’m just glad you came in to join us. Everyone was very docile during art class; until it was time to go home. The teacher said, “Buford this is for you,” as she handed him a cupcake with a little soccer ball on it.
