A Christmas Carol tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an old miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. This movie has a good background the author was Charles Dickens, Dickens 's Life When Writing A Christmas Carol. Dickens begins work on a Christmas Carol in October of 1843. It is published during the holiday season of that year. On January 15, 1844 Francis Jeffery (Frank) Dickens, the third son of Charles Dickens, is born. The time that Dickens do the story it was 1843 the time that was in that time. In the story first Scrooge is paying the mortician to bury Marley, 7 years later Scrooge is in his office, nephew Fred visits him in that night Scrooge goes home. Scrooge met one ghost the Christmas present ghost he was a ghost that can show you the present and that means what is happening now. He showed to Scrooge how he look in the present. He showed Scrooge Bob and his family making the dinner when they were crying for tiny Tim then the ghost was wearing a green robe and laught too much. He was a happy man but the year was about to end so he show Scrooge two things, ignorance and want when the ghost of Christmas present die his bones converted into dust.
