It’s already the second week of CS 1101 and I am super excited. This is actually the first course I have taken that is mandatory for my program. This week, I wanted to make sure that I stayed focus so that I can understand the materials correctly because it will be very important in my future. On Thursday evening after work, I started off by going through the Learning Guide as usual, and then reading the Introduction to Unit 2, just so I could get an idea as to what the rest of my week would be like. After going through the Learning Guide for Unit 2, there was a checklist at the end, so I was well aware of the task that I had to accomplish before the ending of the week.
The way I prepared myself for this book was on every page I had at least about three sticky notes stating the important facts and at the end of the chapter I had a one sentence summary stating the main idea opic of that chapter. This method I have found out has helped me the most it helps me remember certain things better due to my short-term memory loss. For my writing method, I tend to make outlines so I don’t get off topic. Both of my reading and writing method I have discovered for myself throughout my school years has helped me learn better and just in generally better myself academic wise.
My mum would take me to this university three times a week. During these times, I would look for and read the English books they had since I could not speak the native language. As I kept going, I would meet others around my age, and we would read these books together. This gave me the chance to learn German and them English.Reading gave me the chance to learn about the culture, people, and areas where I was living. After reading the books, they opened a new pathway to relating to other people for me.
It has you find a piece of work written in the first person and rewrite it into the third person. (I have found this one the most successful.) I have also started to watch some videos to help me with my writing, one video that I found recently was, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDUXvXGg2Ss. I have found if I just spend about thirty minutes a day watching videos about writing it helps make me feel more comfortable when I sit down to
Recall the thesis you developed earlier in this lesson. Research the literary work you want to discuss and gather enough evidence to support your thesis statement. Then write a 300-word essay. Apply the writing strategies you explored in this lesson. Spend about two hours writing a rough draft of the entire paper.
The priorities that I need is to study, get good grades. I need to read high level books to have better vocabulary. Math is important because you know what teachers say math is everywhere. I need to work on my spelling and writing so I can write the perfect conference papers. I also need to go to medical school for four years and another two years for my residency, so by the time I 'm a successful women I’ll be 28 years old.
In the outline I start by developing a hook following up with an introduction. Then I establish a thesis statement, after that I begin with the first body paragraph topic sentence. Once I write the topic sentence of the first paragraph I then develop three supporting ideas. I continue the same steps until I get to the conclusion where I write the main point of the essay which is almost a similar paragraph that links back to the introduction. This process really helps me organize my ideas and when I was taking English 100, I used it and I would always get a 90% or higher on my papers.
This is my second semester as a distance learner and I believe that I did an exceptional job at my work. My strengths in the distance learning format is my ability to set goals and be well-disciplined enough to reach those goals by the deadlines. I kept a tiny notebook calendar on hand and wrote down each week what I needed to complete in each class. I tried to work on something each day to reach those goals. With the ability of being organized and self-disciplined will assist me in everything I do in college and at
A semester have passed in a blink of our eyes and we are heading toward the end. Therefore, it is time to reflect upon my writing skills. Earlier in the semester, I aimed for an A in this class and I also wish to become a more efficient writer. In order to do so, I planned to use a lot of the available resources such as the writing lab, Learning Curve, and the Bedford handbook. I also planned to read a lot and spending more time in composing my essays by going through multiple drafts.

I came to Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) after transferring from Gallaudet University. I found that what I was required to take a pre-course before taking the real credit courses at TNCC called English Fundamentals 1. So, I took the class that my counselor and my interpreter, who worked in 25 years at TNCC, recommended me to meet Ms. Dubbé. This semester I have improved my reading and writing skills. I am a better student because I have learned effective strategies and pondered over my future goals.
EDLA 6614 Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Instructional Improvement Project-Action Plan Template Name SMART GOAL In two weeks, 80% of the students will be able to use a simple rubric to edit their classroom peers senteces with 80% accuracey. They will be ablt to check for capitals, end marks, and if the sentece has a subject and a predicate (a naming part and a telling part). RATIONALE After reflecting on my self evaluation, I scored proficient over all, but two areas stood out that need improvement. In Domain 3 componet E of the Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching I was basic in “reflecting on practice, the teacher indicated the desire to reach all students but does not suggest strategies for doing so.” I need to do something
In order to demonstrate that they have retained the information learned, former trainees must score at least an 80% or higher. In other words, they need to get 160 questions correct in order to consider this training program to be successful in content learning. A sample question for this exam would be the following, “Select the best answer that accurately describes assessment procedures?” The last day of on-the job-training, all mentors will rate their trainee’s performance on a 3-point Likert scale, (1=Did Not Master Task) to (3=Mastered Task). This mentor survey would include statements such as, “My
Recommendations Based on the data that I have collected both from the WJ III assessment and the CBA that I conducted, I would recommend that the focus of Brian’s help should be on applied problems with focus on math fluency. There were other areas where performed below grade equivalency but I feel that the focus should be on math fluency because there is a chance that once he has mastered math fluency, his performance in the area of applied problems may come up as a result. I recommend that Brian be tutored at least twice a week, every week for thirty minutes per session in order to help him with his math fluency and applied problems. This tutoring should be completed at home by his parents as a way to enhance the lessons that he gets while
Also, we need to send a list of things to improve team dynamic to Tracy and SAs. Michael will take responsibility for making constructive comments on the final report so other team members can fix their part. Later next week, each team member also has to do a peer review and finish the final essay
