When I go to zoos, I don’t see animals playing with each other and having a good time. I see the animals lying there on hard cold rocks gazing out to nowhere or them putting their paws on the glass wanting to get out and be free. Sometimes you will see them reach out to you or them putting their hands on bars wanting to get out. I believe that animals should not be held behind bars and in cages just for educational purposes. We can learn about them by reading a book. Animals are forced to live in metal boxes meant to look like their home and entertain parents and children. Plus animals are forced to live in climates they are not adapted to, they should not be kept in zoos as it decreases their quality of life in a number of ways.
