College students should avoid drugs

What is the drug? Why it should be avoided by all the people, especially college students?
The drug is an illegal and often harmful substance (such as heroin, cocaine and marijuana) that people take for pleasure; it is any controlled substance used to alter one 's mind state or for non-medical purposes, without the permission or supervision of a physician. However, the most popular recreational drug in the world is caffeine. Nearly, 80 - 90% of adult consume caffeine every day. In addition, other popular recreational drugs include nicotine, which found in cigarettes. Moreover, alcohol found in beer, cocktails and wine. Regrettably, these types of drugs are found throughout the world and are used by a wide variety of cultures. However, results from researchers have shown that prevention programs including schools, media, families and the communities are effective in reducing drug abuse. Despite, many events and cultural factors affect drug abuse trends. Thus, education and outreach are the key element of helping college students and the public understand the risks of drug abuse. Parents, teachers, medical and public health professionals must keep sending the messages that drug addiction can be prevented if one never abuses drugs. Moreover, the spread of drug abuse among members of society, especially college students, such as the spread of cancer in the body, if a patient did not cut, then the disease occurs and widespread in the rest of the body
