Introduction 65 million girls are not going to school. Therefore girls need to be educated and they need to learn. If a girl doesn 't learn than she never will get a job. Also many girls are not going to school because they have been forced into child marriage. In this chapter you will learn about how boys are usually chosen to go to school over girls. Why girls should go to school To start off with, when a girl is educated she can change things. According to the article, Educate a Girl, Change the World, Hillary Clinton said, “What we are learning around the world is that if women are healthy and educated, their families will flourish. If women are free from violence, their families will flourish. If women have a chance to work and earn as full and equal partners in society, their families will flourish. And when families flourish, communities and nations do as well.” This shows that one girl being educated changes communities and nations. Also,when a girl is educated, she has a better chance for decreased infant mortality, child marriage, maternal mortality and many other things. Also a woman has a better chance of having educated kids if she went to school because she can teach her children and get a job and earn money to provide schooling for her children. To add on, when a girl is educated she can educate many others and she can teach people who don 't have the opportunity to go to school.
