Should High School / College athletes be paid?
Many student athletes spend as much time practicing and competing as people do working, Plus they spend many hours going to class and studying. Athletes do not have time to get a part time job like many other students.
Student athletes should get paid because they do not have time to get a job with all the games, practices, and schoolwork on top of that.
Student athletes should get paid for playing sports because they are putting all their time into the sport and have little time to work and earn money after games and practices, and they also have school work to worry about.
