Most of these individuals chose to stay in this profession not just because of money, definitely not for the fame but because they know the people need them. They cared and so they are here. Each effort they give is enclosed with great love. Becoming a surgical tech requires more than just knowledge. One does not simply expect the journey to be smooth-sailing.
Anyone who has needed surgery knows the risks of going under the knife. A broken elbow lead me to the emergency room one evening, and it was concluded that after chipping the bone that surgery was needed. Getting the opinion of many doctors and discussing the best course of treatment is necessary to provide any family with ease and confidence with the surgeon. Individuals who have needed a surgery know the necessity of getting many consults and opinions from doctors, many of which result in a different course of action. The different surgery methods and procedures are beneficial for the patient to find a doctor that they feel both confident in and provides
Thank you for the opportunity to work at D1 Therapy and learn from you and the other therapists. I am really grateful for the experience I had with you and everyone else. All of you provided me with valuable skills and lessons that I will take with me to physical therapy school or any profession I may pursue. The compassion that you and the other therapist show for your patients is admirable and something I strive to model. Personally and professionally, I have grown from my experience at your clinic, and the time spent there has been so valuable to me as I continue on my professional journey.
I remembered the day when my mom was sick, and she went to hospital. She got herself cut by the door, and it was bleeding so much. The way Nurse talked to my mom was really great. Nurse do everything to make patient feel better. Nevertheless, nurses listen to patient every time when they become angry.
Rotator cuff injuries are pretty popular and happen to a lot of people. Basically, the two most common types of injury for the rotator cuffs are tears and impingements. Impingements on the shoulder occurs when the soft tissues of your rotator cuff become inflamed and swollen. When this happens, there will be an expansion in size and this will make movement of the shoulders a little bit difficult. This will cause pinching between the shoulder blade and the arm bone when you try to move your shoulders.
Shoulder separation is a profound medical injury. Often, the general public uses shoulder separation and shoulder dislocation synonymously when the two are entirely different injuries involving the shoulder. Shoulder separation involves loss of articulation of the acromioclavicular (AC) joint between the acromion and distal end of the clavicle (“Acromioclavicular separation”, n.d.). AC joint separation results in a disruption of the acromioclavicular ligament within the shoulder and, occasionally, a deformity of the coracoclavicular (CC) ligaments (Corley & Freeman, 2003, p. 4). Laterally, and in less severe cases, AC joint separation is confined to that of the acromioclavicular ligament including “ligamentous strain….or rupture of the acromioclavicular ligament” (Corley & Freeman, 2003, p.4).
The nurse thanked me for my help and as I was drawing up the saline Katie’s mother smiled at me and told me I would never forget this experience. She and her husband were both very thankful to the staff as they were leaving the hospital when Katie was being transferred. In that moment I felt a part of the team and I was happy that the nurse let me get involved with something that I was competent with and capable of completing successfully under supervision. I think looking back I should have taken initiative and gone to my preceptor before entering the room, so she could have informed and prepared me for what I was about to see. Although the nurses were very helpful once Katie was transferred.
What impressed me about Scribe America’s treatment was the work that went into cultivating a positive and enthusiastic work environment for the scribes and chief’s scribes. When I volunteered with the hospital concierge we could hear the team meeting and the enthusiasm that came from the leadership and the scribes.
She continuously educates herself with current regulatory changes to ensure compliance and improve missed opportunities. This is evident when local medical center noted "Missed documentations on Code Blue Documentation" during an emergent event in the OR. She seized the opportunity to assist staff to reflect on present practice, identify gaps, list plausible solutions, and integrate recommendations from OIG. Ms Fernandez lead the team for a complete turnaround in practice and resolve the problem in two weeks’ time frame. She headed the in-service for “Code Blue Management in the OR Setting”.
He asked pertinent questions and was sharp, picking up on the events of the clinic life each day and did not complain about the heat nor circumstances. Watching him change from a boy to manhood has been a fantastic transformation. Watching and learning the man has been very rewarding. I know his heart, his character and his abilities and capabilities and with that background, I wholeheartedly recommend him to your program. He has the makings of a fantastic physician and practicer of the healing arts.
In addition to being an excellent residency candidate, Ashraf demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills. One of the first things I noticed while working with Ashraf was how comfortable he made the patients and their families feel. This is attributed to his outstanding bedside manners and his ability to approach the patient in a cohesive way. In one instance, we had a patient who was diagnosed with lung cancer and I gave him the task of breaking the news to her while I observed. He communicated the information effectively and compassionately in a way that put the patient at
For severely painful cases, there are medical procedures available to surgically remove both internal and external hemorrhoids. If hemorrhoid removal is determined to be the most effective method to eliminate pain and irritation, the doctor will discuss the various surgery options with the patient. Most hemorrhoid removals are performed as an outpatient procedure by a General Surgeon in his Victorville office or a clinic and the patient returns home the same day.
