ABOUT ALIA BHATT Alia Bhatt is an amazing mix of sugar, spice and all that is right. She first appeared on the screen in 1999 as a child artist in the movie ‘Sangharsh’. She made her debut as an adult with the movie ‘Student of the Year’ and immediately shot to fame as a cute, young and vibrant actress. However, she did not stop there or let it define the precincts of her acting. She moved forward in her career with the next movie ‘Highway’ where she portrayed a girl who develops the Stockholm syndrome which won her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress, thus defying the industry’s views that she could not perform acting and was just an ‘eye-candy’. She continued with three back to back hits in just one year showing her versatility in each of those roles, thus becoming the heartthrob of Indian cinema.
