One significant accomplishment that means the most to me was being voted for McAdory High School's Class of 2016 SGA Class Treasurer. Winning the election, in May of 2016, has shown me how I am looked up to by my fellow peers. Having 244 students in my grade is already a lot of kids, but having the Class of 2015 vote on the Class of 2016 officers means that over the years I have become a role-model for those younger than me; that itself means to me to always do what is good and honorable because I will have younger eyes watching me and being influenced by my actions. I have always tried my best in school work, cheerleading, and after-school clubs, so because of that I have a valued accomplishment of a high GPA and a long list of extracurricular
I was determined to learn how to play video games, I showed them I can climb to the very top of the tree, and I developed a passion for sports. And now a few years later being apart of SkillsUsa has boost my confidence level. I also believe that becoming Regional President can give me that push to be a better me and I can inspire others to become better being themselves. Being commitment to SkillsUSA for the past 2 years has been one of the greatest experiences I've had during my high school years.
From Mr. steal yo’ crayons to a young 18 year old man. Truly thankful to have been able to maintain focus and strive closer to my goals each and every day. A major accomplishment that I have attained so far, would be competing and being selected to represent Oregon at various symposiums and conferences throughout my high school career. Thus far, I have been granted scholarships and have had the ability to travel to large cities and beautiful states such as Camarillo, California; Chicago, Illinois; Washington D.C.; and will soon be travelling to Atlanta, Georgia. From conducting scientific field studies around Channel Island University in California to strolling down the streets of D.C. using a blend of my Hispanic and American mindset to present
With the risks I have taken in my school work and extra curricular activities have only shown me how great of a student, a co-worker, and a friend I am to
I encouraged new ideas- such as finding easier ways to improve fundraising- into meetings that would be beneficial to my class. I have set an example for my class by aiding with the pep rally-as well as participating in it- and helping to organize the Sophomore Semi. Being able to lead in these activities gave me a
Sometimes I feel like I'm not doing good enough because I never get recognition for all the good I am doing. I am the first of this family to graduate high school and I will be the first to have a college degree. I have my parents to thank for this. I have desired to be understood by
I have spent many years working to make my community safe and joyous place and in college I hope to do the same. Throughout my years as a Southampton High School student I have volunteered at various events, met new people, and tried my best to make the world a more content place. I have put in hundreds of hours and my entire heart into working to make our town the best it can be. As the Key Club President, Relay for Life Captain, and Class Representative I have learned the true meaning of what it means to be a leader and essentially a teacher. I have learned what it means to be a problem solver and to rise every time I fall.
I was impressed on the grades that i received on my first semester of junior year finishing off with a 3.89 GPA from that point on I knew that my hard work and effort was now being reflected on my grades as i moved on by the end of my second semester of my junior year i was really impressed in what I had done and i knew for a fact that what I had done was based on my effort and for that I am now a proud student at Tustin High School, But the steps I took to overcome this challenge were just thinking back and reflecting what I used to be in freshmen year to where I stand at now looking forward for an unforgettable senior year at tustin high
I led a team of fellow students in a science and engineering challenge competing against several other schools in South Derbyshire. On top of winning first prize I was also awarded a Silver CREST award as recognition for the time and effort that I dedicated to the project. As well as being a prefect I was given a role in the pupil leadership team working closely with the senior leadership team helping to bridge the communication gap between pupils and faculty. Additionally I volunteered to be a games maker at the Derbyshire school games. I worked with other volunteers to deliver coached sessions of boccia to children with learning disabilities, which was an extremely gratifying
I was a really loved student right from my childhood. I could make out what people would expect from me. I’ve always worked hard to prove myself. I am sincere, dedicated and honest. Coming to my accomplishments, I have won three best behavior awards, out of which one of them has been during my time at the senior school.
My greatest accomplishment is being presented the Presidential Leadership award by Brigadier General Don Broome. The Presidential Leadership award is arguably the most prestigious award presented by Hargrave Military Academy, the award is a representation of achievement as a whole person and the pinnacle of success through Hargrave Military Academy. The award is not given out flippantly and entails a long process to ensure it 's presented to only the best. This process begins around the beginning of the second semester with faculty nominations. The faculty and staff nominate one individual from each Company.
I know there are many applicants but I will explain what sets me aside from others. There are a few achievements I am proud of, but what I am most proud of is my progress in school. I have always worked hard and tried to get my best grade. I have done pretty well in school and am trying to prepare for college.
Both accomplishments, especially my scores on the Advanced Placement exams, gave me a sense of self-confidence and faith in my ability to accomplish my goals that I had
I was born on October 20, 2000, in Iraq, while I was born I almost died because my mother was bleeding too much and I was still in her I didn’t get out and my breath got shorter. In my early years, I moved to Dubai so I don’t remember anything in Iraq. In Dubai, the schools that I went to all of them were private schools, my life over there was really simple, most of the time that I spent is in soccer fields. In my teenage years I joined soccer clubs, my position is center attack midfielder, so I had to train a lot by running. And in my teenage years, I traveled to a lot of countries.
A personal accomplishment of mine that marked childhood to adulthood would most likely be when I got my first job at McDonalds in April 2015. This is a big personal accomplishment because I never would've thought that I'd be getting me my first job at the age of 16. It all started at the beginning of April when I walked in & saw a sign that stated "apply here at mchawaii.net" that night I did just that, I applied for my very first job. The next morning was like any other morning, but just a little more excited than usual waiting for my call about the job.
Some of the things that I accomplished were, I planned the first ever Spring Fling in my school. This event was to bring the students and teachers together. There were games and booths in the school field and a taco food truck was also there. More students than we expected came and participated in this event. One of the biggest accomplishment being in Student Government was I wrote a proposal to the school district about our school bathrooms.
