Narration Essay I just finished High school, so I was ready to go to college. I had thoughts about the subject at the time, because I heard that college is harder than High school. All I can think about is how should I go about starting out in college? I could ask some questions while I’m there.
As a junior in high school, I was inducted into the National Honor Society for doing exceptionally well in my academic endeavors and actively participating in volunteer events. My contributions through this organization have made a significant impact on both my personal development and my community’s support services. The numerous volunteer projects in which I have participated have prepared me to continue helping others in the future. Through projects such as building houses from the ground-up with Habitat for Humanity, I have developed teamwork skills, discovered my management potential, and increased my social network, all while working to provide services for less fortunate individuals in my community. Some
From as early as I could remember I noticed I was not like the others kids. I had an interest for things most kids would not be interested in. I liked interacting with people, knowing about people and their life stories; I wanted to help in anyway that I could when I would hear everyone’s problems. I thought outside the box throughout my whole childhood and I wanted to make the most out of my knowledge. I told myself that I was going to dedicate my life to helping my community.
I will also do my best to show good character, leadership, citizenship, service, and scholarship because I know that these qualities are very important for the National Junior Honors Society and that they are also very important to me. Thank you for your consideration, Katy
School is my number one priority although I do a few extracurricular activities; Key Club, CEC, Youth Group, and French Club. I also enjoy volunteer work; visiting elderly people at local nursing homes, helping out at The Pink Lemonade, benefit
I am writing to apply for the position of Assistant Principal for Troy School District. Proudly, I currently serve as a teacher, coach, and acting Assistant Principal. To me any success in school is due to the collaboration of the community creating great opportunities for student success. As such, I have dedicated myself to making meaningful relationships with all stakeholders. These positive interactions have promoted implementing strategies for all student success in and out of the classroom.
Moreover, I have worked very hard throughout high school to better myself and those around me in the many ways mentioned above. I also serve as a role model, both inside the classroom and out, by pushing myself to accomplish goals even I do not always believe I could, always respecting others and listening attentively to the opinions of people around me, and making an effort to enrich the lives of others. I am hopeful the National Honor Society will help me develop this further, and thank you for taking hte time to read my application.
After starting out my freshman fall semester at Lehigh as an engineer and then changing into the business college during my spring semester, I am still unsure of where exactly I want to be. The Strong Interest Inventory helped reveal my strongest areas and showed me which jobs best suit my interest and personality, but this test alone should not decide what major and job I pursue. I know that I need to experience what a real job is like to find what career best fits me. I cannot learn about what career I will enjoy most simply from taking the Strong Interest Inventory or from studying and taking tests in college, there is much more to finding the right job than just that.
I like to spend my time outdoors, playing softball; it’s very important to be outside because you can enjoy the nature’s God has given us. Being outside is very soothing; it helps to focus on the important things in life. Nature is like a second home to humans. We can survive on our own in nature because we can live on the resources that are provided by nature.
As a student at Catalina Foothills High School, I believe I have lived up to the tenet of service and display ideals that the National Honors Society seek for in a student and citizen in society. If I am granted membership into the society, I believe I can contribute my qualities to the community as a member of Catalina Foothills National Honor Society and demonstrate the highest standards of behavior to represent our school honorably. To begin, I would like to establish the importance school and grades plays in my life. As of freshman year, my GPA has been a 3.8, but it constantly continues to grow and improve. My grades are a top priority in my life, because I’m aware that in order to succeed in life you need to be knowledgeable of how the world works.
During my high school career I have made a consistent effort to stay involved in both my school and community. Through clubs such as Key Club, National Art Honor Society, and National Honor Society I’ve been able to help out locally and globally in an abundance of ways. In Key club and NHS I am able to volunteer in traditional ways, but National Arts Honors Society allows me to contribute to my community and school in a creative way that stimulates people 's minds through art. Due to these activities having a significant impact on my life my future career options are based around what I have learned from them.
This prepares myself for my future because I am going to college to secure a degree in education for elementary students, once I graduate high school. These are examples of how I contribute to various teams and a small
What is important to me is being able to make an impact. It is important to me because I do not want to live a life and leave nothing significant behind it. I want to make the most out of my life and help people. To accomplish what is important to me, I do a lot of volunteering. I have volunteered for local elementary schools, at the soup kitchen, and for community events.
At the end of the day I'm doing what I enjoy and being active and that's all I care
