Greek mythology illustrates many amazing stories of gods and heroes. The heroes are not often gods but are men. These men risk their life and display acts of courage, strength, and heart. Two of these Greek Mythology characters who share these characteristics are Jason and Odysseus. They were both heroes, the only difference is that they had different paths and obstacles to overcome. Jason is the rightful heir to his father’s throne but it was taken from him. His only choice is to go on a quest, one that Pelias believes to be a wild goose chase. The journey is for him to retrieve the Golden Fleece. Jason wouldn’t have succeeded if he didn’t continue to display great courage, strength, and heart.
