The Lives of Kurt Cobain and Bill Gates
Have you ever wanted to be famous? There are many ways to become well known; Kurt Cobain and Bill Gates are two good examples of how one could become famous. Bill Gates and Kurt Cobain have both changed the world in their own way, and their legacies remain strong to this day. In this research paper I will be detailing Cobain’s life, Gates’s life, comparisons between the two, and contrasting Gates and Cobain.
Kurt Cobain was born in Aberdeen, Washington on February 20th, 1967. He was a famous rock star in the late 1980’s and early the 1990’s. He wrote hit songs such as “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, “Come as You Are”, “Heart-Shaped Box”, and many others. His inspiration for these songs came from his early life. Early Life. Kurt was a hyperactive child, much like Huck Finn from from Twain’s Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and he came from a middle class family. Because of this he was prescribed a morphine based drug to help him with this problem. Kurt had a good childhood until his parents got divorced when he was seven-years-old. He moved back forth between his parents which caused him to isolate himself and become distant. For a birthday present Kurt received his first guitar and that gift inspired him to pursue music.
