Within the play Trash Anthem, the two are already in a relationship and have reached the end. However in Sure Thing, it is the blossoming of a new relationship. Comparing the two plays, the characters are both believable because the reactions that come from the responses are how normal humans would react as well. Trash Anthem developed the characters by showing the “Woman” and her anger truthfully being a longing for her husband. But overall, Sure Thing had more development in character towards the end as Billy and Betty begin to get more excited as they realize they have a connection with things like “Woody Allen” and “Entenmann’s crumb cake” (Ives 12).
The irrational world is characterized by simplicities, certainties and isolation of events. Macbeth loses his heroism and becomes fear-stricken when, undeservingly, he acquires certain knowledge about a few unrelated events of his future life. Having tasted “certainty” of the irrational world, Macbeth becomes more and more troubled by the uncertainties of the rational world and his fear is aggravated and heroism disappears more and more. He turns out to be a divided personality as he lives in one world and abides by another. His reason and imagination don’t work as parts of a unified sensibility.
Also , Fitzgerald uses literal time when explaining the old clock that Jay knocked off the mantle. “The clock took this moment to tilt dangerously at the pressure of [Gatsby’s] head” (86). The Great Gatsby Book Vs Movie The Great Gatsby, written by F.Scott Fitzgeralds in 1925, and its movie adaptation directed by Baz Luhmann in 2013, are very similar. There are many details that remain loyal to the book in the movie. Yet, since the release of the book there are many cultural and social changes in our society. Consequently, certain things of the book’s theme, characters, and symbols are no longer acceptable/enjoyable to audience. The producers, it seems while trying to make the movie fit the modern times, they cutout or changed certain things about characters, theme, and symbols that caused it to be slight different from the book.

Shakespeare’s highly acclaimed and commended play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, was a fundamental and universal play that symbolised the theme of love. The concept of love is a common thread that runs through Shakespearean comedy. Set between 1590 and 1596, the play is about a love quadrant that obstacles of love. But while this is a good point, because there are many situations where we see this (like when he is chatting with professor Spencer, and he is telling him how he is just going through a phase at that moment, and Mr. Spencer answers by denying that with, “I don 't know, boy. I don 't know.”), it fails to account for how he treats people. The way Holden isolates himself makes him become more and more of a narcissistic jerk. The changes that either he causes or that simply occur around him always seem to make him worse as a person. It is not that Holden is misunderstood, but that Holden has never really understood himself and that is why he maintains himself within the confines of his own miserable loneliness.

Although love at times can inflict harm, love is a force of good as it joins people together, brings out the best qualities in a person, and provides joy. Looking at the book Romeo and Juliet, you see love as a good impact as it brings people together. In this book, there are two teenagers, valiant Romeo, from the Montague family, and beautiful Juliet, from the Capulet family who fall in love and marry each other secretly. In the end, they kill themselves based on their love and when their parents find out, they end the feud to honor their children saying, “O’ brother Montague, give me thy hand.” (5.3.296) Here, love connected the Capulets and Montagues. Because of love, a feud ended and peace was restored between the families and the streets of Verona.

Features of the film 's sense of space and time, setting, motifs, characters, and character goals will be explored and how they affect the characterisation, structure, and three-act organisation. In Sunset Boulevard (Wilder 1950), the space of mise-en-scene is used to ‘guide the audience 's attention across the screen, shaping the sense of the space that is represented and emphasising certain parts of it ' (Bordwell 2001, p.176).

Side Show was put together through the Kent Theatre Department. The set design, acting, and theme came together to create the love story between Daisy and Violet. Side Show was written by Bill Russell and directed by Amy Fritsche. The production of this musical created a performance that was exhilarating and remarkable. The authors of the production were trying to emphasize that even though Daisy and Violet are conjoined twins, they were meant to be together.

The provisional diagnosis I came up with for Aaron Stampler at first was Dissociative amnesia disorder F44.0 because he had such a hard time remembering important things. Individuals who have dissociative amnesia cannot remember important information that is usually of a personal nature. This amnesia is usually stress related (Morrison, 2014, p. 235). Therefor Stampler does not meet the criteria for that disorder. However, when Stampler emerges into Roy who had a totally different voices, no manners, and outspoken.
