The main character in to kill a mockingbird is the narrator scout, and the main character in “a Christmas story” is buddy. Scout and buddy are alike in many ways but one way is that they are both from poorish family and both have older parents or siblings to look up to. For example scout has her dad Atticus finch to look up to. Buddy has his parents to look up to so there are some examples explaining the the similarities of the two characters. Although there are similarities but there are also some difference like scouts a girl and buddy is a boy. For example even though scout acts like a boy but she is a girl and buddy is a boy so that's the difference between them both. Another similarity would be that both characters scout and buddy are both round characters in change in many ways.
