In China, students from primary school and even smaller age began to learn English.Although Chinese students have learned English for a long time, the effect is not so ideal. 5.1 Ways and strategies of applying situational teaching method English, like any other language, English is a tool of communication.Since it comes from the language of life, we should let it go back to the life, to apply their knowledge. For Chinese students, they do not have the natural environment to communicate in English, then the teacher should find some ways to bring students into the life of the locale. In this way, students can better participate in learning English, to remember ,to apply. It uses life to reveal the situation, material object to display the situation, musical romance to attract the situation, language to describe the situation and so on,lead students into a certain situation and a set of situations, so that they have a certain feelings and emotional experience, put the cognition, situation, meaning and action melt into a whole, so as to stimulate students to use English to communicate and express. In class, we should let the students become the true masters of learning English, let the students in different levels, different types have some improvement in their original English level. To a certain extent it will improve the efficiency of English teaching. However, if you ruminate about it, why do you do the things you do? What is the in-depth purpose behind it? Although many might consider that survival isn’t always your primary goal, my opinion is contrary because it is the prerequisite before accomplishing other minor goals and a primal instinct, everything we do is because of survival.
During the observation portion of this assignment, I observed in a fifth grade ELL classroom. The teacher in charge of this class is Anissa Rose. She has been an ELL teacher for many years and teaches students in kindergarten through the 8th grade. This paper will discuss whether or not the students were aware of the class language and content objective, how the teacher instructed the content and language objectives, the type of group configurations, and how the teacher accommodated for different ELP levels.
In the real world today I feel like everybody is continuously moving and they rarely have time for themselves. People always seem to be on the move and seem to drive to fast because they have to get to where they need to go. In the book Clarisse stats that “I sometimes think drivers don't know what grass is, or flowers, because they never see them slowly.” Page (6) Today you never really see people stop and admire things they just keep moving.
By disconnecting with society’s influences, individuals would be able to have a closer connection with the universe around them. Simplicity is the key to achieving happiness, peace, and have new experiences in
And ultimately, why are we made. But for now, just experience the most you can right now. After all, Helen Keller once said, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the
The first reason is that we could make friends so we are not lonely and NEVER have friends. We could just have tables and benches so that we could hang out with them and not just sit on the ground and be awkward. We could also plant some trees, and when they grow we could climb in them. All in all, this is a good thing. The second reason is that it could be a time to work on homework or missing work.
And, because we've grown accustomed to the benefits of technology, I believe we always want things to be easier and more effective, rather than minimizing people's need to work and think; these mindless practices can sometimes cause us to lose sight of the real world. We lose sight of our relationships
It’s from this addiction to happiness that results in consuming greater than I may need to feel more involved. When I feel intimidated I need happiness, to cheer me up and my way out of it is to consume, for some people its cigarettes to deal with stress, for me its consume to be pleased. Therefore, we consumers all share a common view about consumerism which is work, bring in money, and consequently, spend money. We all have an addiction to consume to bring us what we think is our happiness, occasionally this addiction even consumes us entirely and we have nothing left.
These unsolicited emotions and experiences conquer the one system that all human alike desire most. Time. Life is a constant battle against time. However, in a day we have 24 hours, 1440 minutes, and 86400 seconds. If so, why do humans have a propensity to complain about having absolutely no time?
Why were we put on this earth? To live? To survive? To love? No one really knows the answer to that question, but us humans know that people spend most of their time on earth with their families.
Two main points are discussed in the article, “Your Lifestyle Has Already Been Designed”, David Cain talks about mass consumption and the reasons for working long hours. The first point discussed is that society is built around people carelessly throwing away money.
That is our choice the way we live our temporary life and the way we make it meaningful for ourselves What is the meaning of life? Why we exist here? What are we living for? These questions are asked, discussed and argued by many philosophers around the world to look for a significance of people’s living or existence in general.
Classroom Observations Mrs. Canada is the first grade teacher that I observed, and the subject that she was teaching was reading. She had planned well-organized power points and crafting materials in advance, so she was prepared for the lesson. The two times I observed, the lesson that was being taught at both times was reading. Children in the classroom used a lot of previous knowledge for the lesson.
C. Analysis In this chapter, I will make critical analysis on the results of the classroom observation with my opinion. 1. Teacher’s Classroom Management a. Managing students to pay attention to the lesson According to Warfield (2016) mentioned that classroom surrounding very affects to student performance.
Evaluation of my time spent at a London Students Union Introduction This report will the evaluating my experience during my experiential learning practice. Experiential learning practice (EPP) in its simplest form is developing skills through practice, followed by reflection on skills gained and their use. EPP was popularised as an alternative to written and aural taught learning, it offered a different and new way of learning through practical skills (Lewis & Williams, 1994, p. 6). For my EPP I was working within the representation team for a London Students union, A charitable membership organisation that represents and serves the students of a university.
