Why Six Sigma is said has lots of different things? The reasons are because it had different meanings over time and it is now interpreted in increasingly different ways. Besides, from methodology, it defects products and processes to become less emphasis when Six Sigma is evolved. Normally it is focusing on an organization in a business improvement methodology. It also is the DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve, and control) model in process improvement. In the level of Six Sigma Management System, there is still not enough to drive breakthrough improvements from disciplined use of metrics and application of the methodology and results that are sustainable over time which is learned from the experience by Motorola Inc. To improve opportunities, the process metrics and structured methodology are ensuring to be applied which will directly link to the organizational strategy is the greatest impact. Six Sigma is a high performance when practiced as a management system for executing business strategy. A top-down solution in Six Sigma is to help organizations to have critical improvement efforts when align their business strategy.
