It is an intricate internal chemical process and is a vital mechanism for keeping us healthy. Metabolism usually takes place in two steps - Catabolism and Anabolism. Catabolism refers to the breakdown of the food substances to simple compounds that can be well digested, and anabolism refers to the process of utilizing the energy that we derive from the catabolic breakdown of food substances. So it is better to have them along with some healthy foods like lentils, vegetables, and pulses. Spiceless food It is a myth that spices are bad for health. They are absolutely not so. Eating a healthy diet does not mean you have to eat bland and tasteless food. In addition to adding taste to food, they also help in burning calories and jump start your metabolism
