While challenging, for the most part, I conquered through each day and week with little episodes of headaches, insomnia and nausea. What really encouraged me and helped me to meet my weekly goals was talking to family and friends throughout the week and knowing that everything was going to work out in the end. And after each week, if no more than 4 episodes, I would get to go home and have a fun day out. Overall I was very successful at meeting my SMART goal on a weekly basis. I met my goal 4 weeks out of 12 weeks. Those 4 weeks I did reward myself as stated in my behavioral self contract. I do plan on continuing this project after the semester ends because it has helped me with self-discipline and in return I may or may not get a reward for
POSITIVE REWARD PROGRAM “Students will earn privileges, not lose them!” Lou Thompson (Following months of therapy.) Lou KNEW the program would not work. (“Our Conduct Disordered, Assaultive student will blow it off.”)
. Who Is the Direct Target of This Policy, Meaning Who Will It Most Affect? Do Members of the Direct Target Population Come from Any Specific Demographic Groups? This policy is aimed at the poor that receive welfare benefits.
By setting a reward fullfilling a certain goal will allow the to be more likely motivated to continue their hard
After chapter eight, my goal was to maintain my better work ethic and that became my most powerful diving force. I don’t think I met my standards, I feel I’ve been lazy and now I don’t have enough time to fully correct that. My goals changed after the eighth book, before I was just trying to get stuff down for a page without actually annotating. I think as a learner I need to figure something out beforehand, but also I need to observe how other people are doing it in order to base my own ethic. I feel like I’m realizing now
My scores from the path goal questionnaire indicate that I am leading to two different paths of leadership. They are directive and achievement-oriented styles of leadership. Directive style: My role as a charge nurse is to oversee our unit. I am responsible for keeping a high level of patient care, assessing other nurses and serving as an educational resource for nurses. I am also ensuring that my directions and expectations are clearly understood by the staff members.
Smart goal essay My smart goal as a student is to transfer to Oregon State with an associate’s degree of science and then graduate with a bachelor’s of science. The reason for choosing to major in pharmacy is that I like chemistry and would like to work in the medical field in the future. Transferring to Oregon State and taking the pre-pharmacy courses there will be a tremendous help to me in pursuing my major. By the end of 2025, I will be earning 116,670 a year as a pharmacist I will need to transfer from pcc with an associates of science and then graduate 4 years later with a bachelor’s degree in science, finally continuing my education by going to a pharmacy school.
I recently delved into some research about a 2-day certification course I will be attending that helps high school level and junior athletes discover what it is they really want to get out of the sports they are playing, and how to help them train to attain the goals that they set for themselves. One of the trainers said, "The problem that most of our students have in sticking to a training program is that they focus on the process instead of the reward." I had written an article on this very subject two years earlier, and found it fascinating that the same exact 'truth' would rear it's head again. (That's the way it goes with the truth - it will always cut through and define problems and point to solutions with extreme clarity.) Anyway,
What ACTIONS will you take to meet your goal for the next week? The actions that I will take to reach my goal for next week is to not eat at fast food restaurant. Sometimes the food that is sold at fast food restaurants is not as healthy as it seems. Another action that I will do is continue to do exercise 3 times a week, and at least for an hour.
I learned that I could apply this technique to other situations in my life. For example, I use a self-reward system when I am not motivated to study, by studying for 30 thirty-minutes and then taking a five-minute YouTube break. I also learned that self-reward and time management are connected. For instance, I would designate specific study breaks throughout the day as little incentives to get work done. The schedule, however, helped my five-minute study break not to turn into a three-hour Netflix
First of all,the ruled schedule requires discipline .Riley stated ,"It was obvious I needed to manage my time better". You have to motivate yourself to keep moving forward so you can meet your goal .Riley stated,"I invested so much energy in making my beautiful plan that I just collapsed afterwards. Although you may have a mindset of your schedule ,
I want to set more goals to make a better life and future for myself. I will set my future goals for my physical health to improve my muscles and self. I don't really look at my health any different after this project. My awareness of my health has not changed from when i went in to this project to now, my views are the same as they were when i started. If i had to do this project over again i would have picked the same goal as i did, I have a problem with procrastinating.
If you need to motivate yourself and stay determined, do it!
Well, following the extra mile will hopefully stop me from my terrible habits, such as watching a LOT of TV, going to bed super late, getting up very late, my laziness or just being the master at procrastinating, and being glued to my phone. Taking all of this away will help me conquer my goals and future goals to come. Defeating my bad habits will take time, so, keeping a daily planner will help (which I have, but I have a difficult time remembering to write my daily work on it). I’ll need to put the daily planner somewhere I can see it when I’m doing my schoolwork. Being organized will help too!
My experience in Change Management is very limited. The theoretical knowledge I have acquired during the first four weeks of this module has made me realize that transforming organizations is a difficult and complex task. I have read case studies mentioning the unique contribution of change leaders whose role is to talk to people’s hearts and minds. I have also understood how important is to reconcile conflicting interests and emergent tensions between top-down transformation initiatives and functional operations. Despite the widespread belief that managing change is tough, there is little agreement regarding the factors which influence change the most.
My Behavior Change Contract was about getting a regular running schedule. Writing my goals down helped me stick to the goal. I was good about keeping my schedule and going running everyday around the same time. It made me feel good to
