“I learned about life with a ball at my feet.” What do you first think about when you hear the word soccer? Do you think about the coolest goal ever made? Or maybe the best jukes you’ve ever seen? Well there’s more to soccer than scoring goals and juking people. To some people, there’s a meaning to every goal, kick, and pass. Soccer has a meaning. To some people, soccer is just a dumb and , boring sport that is completely useless. But to others it’s a lifestyle because, it revolves around their everyday life. There’s people passionate about this sport, and I’m one of them.

In any discourse community, leadership is a crucial factor and on a sports team, this should be a responsibility dedicated to the player that shows the qualities and can bring satisfaction. This feeling can be gained by working hard at practices and showing the results at the soccer games. The feeling calls you to set personal and team goals. Physical and soccer skills are not the only qualities needed to be part of the soccer discourse community. There are other skills that can help the players develop such as relationship skills. Relationships are important in the community because you are constantly depending on your teammates on the field. Soccer is the most popular sport. It is influential in America, by looking at it; it is mostly effective to children. It is mostly popular for women’s soccer than men and soccer had gained popularity due to the influence of David Beckham. Soccer seems to lack of academies which causes to gain no talent at all. At youth, children love to play soccer, but as they grow old it might be possible chance they might grow out of it. By looking at soccer one can see its influence on American culture which is important because soccer is a sport that gained popularity and has significant influence on America both socially and economically.

Football started out as the AFL and then merged with the NFL which formed the Super Bowl. But let 's not forget the small amount of women in powder puff football. With football being so famous more and more rules are developed. But the main part that makes football so interesting is its history without it, you would have never know how the super bowl came to be and the wonderful coaches that made the game competitive and filled with life long experiences.

Being a captain in soccer whether it's professional soccer or high school soccer is an honor to be. Professional players such as Andres Iniesta, Carles Puyol, Sergio Ramos, and the player that inspired me to play soccer Paolo Maldini have all shown why being a captain is such an honor to be. Now I have been given the honor to be varsity captain for My high school soccer team but I wasn't just given to me because I was a senior no, it was given to me because of my hard work and dedication to become a better soccer player and to become a leader.

After the end of a JV football season, the varsity coach always selects a few players to move them up with the varsity. Getting moved up with varsity is a huge deal. It means that the varsity coach thinks you’ll make a good impact on the team next year and sees potential in you. I always knew I wasn 't a good football player, but that didn 't matter to me because I loved the sport. I didn 't start at any positions my freshman or sophomore year. In fact I barely even got in with practice squad at practice, I was small and my body just wasn 't fit enough for me to play any position. At the end of my second JV season in tenth grade, the varsity coach came and talked to us and called out the names of who he wanted to move up. I knew my name wasn’t going to be called but I was still

The results of this research showed that the most important communication problems between coaches and players in professional sports are: the external factors, the limited time, the language, the ability of perception and the negative attitudes.
