Throughout my Life and high school career I have spent many hours with teachers and coaches. I have had many experiences, but the one that stands out most to me is my former cheerleading coach and gym teacher, Ms. Traska. She coached our team with no background in cheerleading. She brought us closer as a team and being part of this team has made a difference in my life. The two years that Ms. Traska coached were the most fun, productive, and memorable years that I have been on the team.
My first year of school cheerleading, I have really grown to love the game of basketball and football, and cheer during games. I love to be interactive during the games and be on the side lines to cheer the players

Cheerleading Tryouts We had cheerleading tryouts at the end of last year. It was one of the most stressful times of my life. One of my biggest dreams was to become a cheerleader. Before cheerleading began I had more free time, played other sports, and spent more time with my family.
It was my family’s legacy of determination, dedication and perseverance that had fueled me to face and overcome the stereotypes that were imposed on me in high school. During my junior year, I enrolled in AP Calculus with the indefatigable support and encouragement of my parents. Initially, this class was a nightmare due to the academic expectations and amount of assignments. I often doubted in my own ability to succeed in the class. I found inspiration and internal motivation to continue the battle by observing my industrious and diligent parents.
So she started to squeeze an eraser for hours building her muscles up. So her shot and accuracy could help her win, which would help her think she is as good at sports as anyone else. In addition she did push ups on her fingers making her finger more powerful to help, which is a hard thing to do. Secondly, Lupe ran home threw her backpack down with her homework and dashed straight up to her room to practice setting aside school which she loves, to practice that's surprising. Also, Lupe worked so hard her thumb became swollen with muscle showing she tried hard on every practice shot and exercise.
Book Analysis Patricia Groves book Petticoat Rebellion: The Anna Parnell Story (2009) is persistent on the theme of resourcefulness and compassion during Anna Parnell 's willful battle with her brother Charles as she grew up to create the Ladies Land League and carefully managed the men 's Land League behind the scenes. From the beginning, Anna Parnell 's personality was essential to her mastered organizational abilities and was compassionate to every person she met. Groves ' narrative showed that Anna was always competing with her brothers and sisters, which allowed her to blossom into the most prominent member of the Parnell family. Early on, Anna thrived on pressure as she was keen on proving to everyone around her that she was just as
cheerleading in high school to cheerleading in college was vast. To recruit, the girls would go to the gym and ask the strongest looking guys to try out or we would talk to cheerleaders we knew from high school”(5). This quote explains that cheerleaders exercise regularly to keep their bodies in shape to able to perform some of the stunts they have to do and to also go to higher level of cheerleading such as college they have to work with themselves more. Working for hours and hours on a routine shows that cheer is a sport it requires more than any other sport. Cheerleaders need more than just knowing how to cheer to be in the sport they love, they have to have commitment and good memorization.
My wrist hurt terribly, but I performed to the best of my ability. The competition went great, and I didn’t feel the pain until after our two minute routine was over. Cheerleading has shown me that my determination, attitude and effort help me accomplish great adventures in life. My effort in cheerleading not only reflects my effort in other activities but also in the classroom.
Our amplified sense of self importance dictates the way we view others and causes us to forget that everyone views themselves and their existence in the same heightened esteem and makes us think of everyone around us as secondary characters to our own story, rather than the fleshed out main character of their own. Social lines and status, visual and cultural associations, and our own personal experiences, all affect the way we view others and how others view us. When considering social lines and status in this text, there is a clear divide between one group of girls, and another standing off to the side by herself, isolated. The trope of a ‘popular mean girl clique’ exists not only in fiction but is an all too real experience many people are
Alicia Osburn should be inducted in the Yellow Jacket Hall of Fame because of her years of working hard. Working with all the kids over the summer and working with different demographics. For example, her problem resolution skills are great but she said she learns more over time. One day, her niece and son had a fight over who was right and wrong. She stepped in and helped us through the problem and we asked why her problem resolution skills were great and she tells us how she learns them over time.
Cheerleading and Gymnastics is a display of discipline, practice, and dedication, determination, and athleticism. Many people say that cheerleading and gymnastics are the same thing. I say that they’re not the same thing. They both have some similarities, but they have differences too. Cheerleading and gymnastics have many traits in common, both are very athletic.
