In planning, scoping cannot be left out. Scoping is done to get the broader essence of the issues involved and their future impact. In the education set up, the issues of low standard education affect the public and private employment sector. The production is affected if you have graduates who cannot have effective production. The morals also matter; the social interaction enables to measure the level of ethics in an individual. The community also gets a range of opportunities to identify their expectations. For instance, in the education sector, the parents, the employment sector, and the surrounding community can identify their expectation in education through scoping. In the actual planning process of community engagement, the first step is to identify the purpose of the community engagement process (Hatcher & Bringle, 2012). In the case of education sector, the purpose is to cater for the issues affecting the quality of education, moral ethics, and higher education programs. Secondly, providing a background for community engagement process. This includes the drives that lead to the community engagement process. As discussed earlier, all the stakeholders are the drives for engagement process. The place where the engagement process should take place is considered. The target audience is identified and the intended messages prepared during the planning process. The resources to be used in the engagement process are then identified.
