According to the oxford dictionary, sports may be defined as an activity involving physical exertion and skills in which an individual or team competes against one another. Throughout the Caribbean there is a wide variety of sports. There are also many different reasons why persons play. Sports provide a social and economic on persons and also on countries. Some social Impacts may include: Education, Health Benefits and it helps with the reduction of crimes.
Education is the process where instructions are received or given systematically. There is a growing interest among sports and development in the relationship towards school among children. Students that participate in sports tend to have a greater acknowledgement interest in their education. Sports too play an important role in an individual’s life. It teaches one to become strong and develops a fit and sound body. The general combination of sports and education help persons to develop a self-motivating spirit and become independent on decisions.
