1.0 Introduction Everyone is born free and equal. As ones saying goes, ‘No man is an island’, everyone needs to be loved, to be appreciated, and to be accepted. People with disabilities are not an isle to be discriminated at the sea too, metaphorically speaking. However, the practice of inclusion is still a challenge because the existence of some ‘invisible’ barriers. This paper delves deeper in the challenges encountered by the people with learning disabilities, specifically by our case study person, a slow learner, Miss Sue (pseudonym), in the field trips. The challenges involve education, employment, social security, and social participation. This study implies that the professional development among the educators in the positively implementation of inclusion is essential. In the context of special education, beyond integration, inclusion is to restructure an ordinary school to accommodate, rather than assimilate, students with special needs, irrespectively (Avramidis et al., 2000). If Sue, for example, is exposed to the working environment that her colleagues around her are less tolerate with her, Sue may be fail to accomplish most of her tasks and responsibilities. Sue may be left out because of the co-workers do not put up with her disadvantages. 2.3 Social Security Sue does not know how to compute the money balance when shopping. According to her father, she fails to calculate the balance of RM 10 after purchasing RM 3.50 goods. She would let the cashier to keep the change instead of requesting RM 6.50 in return. Such simple transaction process Sue is unable to master, what if the other advanced social benefits and advantages that she deserves. Furthermore, the government does not have adequate strategies to compensate people who fail to continue working. Sue is not financial independent. 2.4 Social Participation Sue spends most of her time at home. She plays computer games and watches drama series. She seldom goes out to socialise. Even at home, she shows up her temper easily and frequently. To be included, she has to possess the soft skill of communication and teamwork. These are the great challenges for her to equip herself to the outside
