Introduction
African socialism and socialism are two ideologies that were developed from a common view of the world but were applied to different types of nation. Socialism was developed for a more individualistic society that encourages everybody to develop their self meaningfully and make a contribution to their society. African socialism was designed for a more collectivist society that belief we should all work together to bring about the change that we want in our society. Socialist people contribute economically to their communities to benefit all other and production according to them is for profit than their own use an example of this people in china are able to produce things that bring more profit to their country than they can use themselves while according to African socialist production is for use than for profit people in states that had adopted this ideology for example people in Kenya during the Ujamma time they produced to benefit themselves and their communities more than for profit. Africans socialism views a community as a combination of families and extended families than individuals. In Africa every man is seen as a brother without excluding them he deserves to have something. Communal ownership of assets is at heart of African socialism. African socialism can be identified by communal ownership and non-racist society that has no classes that separate people according to their wealth. It views the world in a view that everyone is part of extended family where else socialism encourage economic and social equality and does not promote a society that people are classified in classes according to their wealth as like capitalism. African socialism and socialism are ideologies that has more common beliefs as they are developed from a similar view of how the world should be for example they both place equality as key in a very democratic state. They both consider that the people need to have liberty before anything.
