Sociologists believe that socialization is developed throughout life because we all go through a lot of different situations between the moment we are born through the moment we die. An effective government system protects the rights of its people and keeps its citizens safe from harm. The purpose of the government is to protect its citizens by securing the safety of them, and by providing for citizen 's needs. While other concerns, such as the economy and a less intrusive government may be present, a government 's duty is to provide for and protect its citizens. Without people 's concerns for how their needs will be provided or how they will be protected from a threat, the citizens will be able to live with a sense of security.
The most influential agent of socialization I the family. In this chapter this is shown, generally the kids in “street” families had the tendency to act similar to their parents. “The kind of home he comes from influences but does not determine the way he will ultimately turnout,” (105). The kids would be quick to hit someone else if they did not get their way, they would yell and argue in very unorderly fashions, just like they had seen their parents do or other adults they had been surrounded by. Aside from family peers are also a strong agent of socialization, especially in a system like this in which children are raised through accomplishment of natural growth, in which they are surrounded by other children in all their free time and often times children not in their age group.

Marxism Vs Functionalism Inroduction: This essay will discuss the Marxist and Functionalist approaches to education. The essay will likewise examine the two main concepts of sociology and the education system. The way in which Marxists and Functionalists compare education is important within society. Criticism on Social Learning Theory Introduction Social learning theory is a theory related to classical and operant conditioning, which proposed by Albert Bandura in 1977. According to Albert Bandura, people are active agents in learning while they use cognition and social interaction in learning (Rogers, 2010). Albert Bandura considered that people are living in the environment, therefore, human behavior should be studied in social context rather than in laboratory (Bandura, 1977).
According to the Dictionary, Sociology is defined as the study of the development, structure, and functioning of human society. In today’s modern society, everyone is largely affected by society. From multiple social institutions like the government and economy for instance or even the effects of education and mass media; these all play a huge role in an individual’s relationship, behavior, and actions in their society. For an individual to understand things like a “culture” or why every society has a ‘social class hierarchy,’ they will be directed to “Sociology”. Who am I? I am Quentina Burnett and I have been developed by socialization, to be able to fit within the society. Socialization is the process where an individual learns behavior, values, culture, and norms of the society to develop his or her personality to become a proficient person in the society (Keirns et al., 2016). This process starts in the early stage of a baby, to an adult, and continues until the individual dies. The process of socialization gives people and myself the basic social contact and social interaction needed to develop “self”.
