As it were, the images individuals associate with regular things. At the point when individuals herd the name flower children, a few images that rung a bell are splash-color shirts, blooms, medications, mind-altering substances and music. This obliges the interactionists point of view. Max Weber, who expressed that people follow up on their translation of the world, would most likely receive a clear majority of credit. However, with a pro there is always a con. The interactionism theory has affected society in a negative way. What a few faultfinders say in regard to the interactionists point of view, numerous individuals concentrate excessively on the little images; like medications, music, and splash-color rather than what the radicals were really about. The interactionists theory just takes a gander at the little, not all that imperative pieces to perceive what the picture really looks at. Getting involved means being apart of something more, having the chance to met different people, helping out the community, but its also means learning more about who you are as a person. What has most influenced your professional or career aspirations for the future? My aspiration of becoming a Physician Assistant is influenced by society. The health of people in the world is deteriorating. It hurts me to see people fighting cancer, having heart failure, suffering from diabetes, or living with high blood pressure.
My body cried like a newborn babe, afraid in an unfamiliar place. Immediately, my fresh eyes were greeted by waves of black hair, friendly smiles, and the Japanese language. I had arrived in Japan. I did not know the language or the customs, but I dove right into the dark pool. I was determined not to let the unknown drown me.
At the beginning of my sophomore year, August 2015, I fractured my left ankle. My second season of cross country had just begun. The whole team had a Saturday practice at Atlanta Memorial Park. We came to this park for a time trial. Not being able to run was going to be a challenge for me.

My world is overrun by little cards. My most prized card is my library card. Please tell me I 'm not only one who knows their 14 digit number by heart. That key to wonders of the world is how I survive the other cards. Those regimental, bosy little pieces of cardboard that tell me when to go where, to see who, when I would much rather be doing other things.
For my practicum experience I was at the Sacred Heart Medical Center ICU (2S). The Sacred Heart ICU takes a variety of different patients – traumas, strokes, septic patients, etc. To guide my time on this unit I was assigned a nursing preceptor. Mackensie Rockstrom, who was with me for all but 28 of my total 136 hours, has been a nurse for five years. Two and a half of these years have been spent in the ICU, the other two on the 8th floor, a neurological floor, of Sacred Heart.
From the time I was born, I was given certain characteristics and behaviors that follow through my life and creates a barrier for myself to have a limit on opportunities that could be taken. Every single person has a unique way of expressing their cultural identity because no one grew up exactly the same. I wouldn’t have my own identity if I didn’t carry morals and beliefs I had while growing up. I also gained characteristics that represent me from the society we live in today. Thinking of the daily tasks I partake in and how I do them in a certain way makes me wonder why I do it.

The first half of this semester was swift and I can’t believe how fast it passed by. College is a whole new world for me that I had never imagined with a lot of new experiences that I hope will shift me into a better and smarter person. There are more things I can do in college that I would have never dared to do in high school and I am happy for these new freedoms. I am able to eat in class, leave class without asking and they don’t care if I pay attention or not. My high school teachers would always tell me to wait for the bell, sometimes would not let me leave and if I did not pay attention they would yell.
Rather than looking at a social system overall, such as the total population of a country, interactionism focuses on a smaller-scale social interactions, such as the interactions between characters or small social groups. Interactionism in sociology focuses on the way that we act, or make careful choices concerning our behaviours that continue from how we understand situations. In other words, humans are not only reacting to social provocations; we are social actors and need to alter our behaviour based on the actions of others. Interactionism in sociology reviews how different social actors make sense of or understand the behaviour of those surrounding us. This evidence can be used to understand the social construction of the world, which is focused on not only the meanings that we give to behaviour, but also how we understand the meanings of behaviour of ourselves and others.
Problem statement Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) defines abuse and neglect as "any recent act or failure to act on the part of a parent or caretaker, which results in death, serious physical or emotional harm, sexual abuse, or exploitation, or an act or failure to act which presents an imminent risk of serious harm."
