Background
Soda Pop Organics, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Organics”) is a soft drink company, with headquarters located in Washougal, Washington, USA. At the end of 2013, Organics employed over 120,000 people, had investments in over 1,550 locally owned organic/hydroponic farms and owned 130 sugar cane farms that grow and process exclusively organic sugar cane products. Organics operates in the non-alcoholic beverage market sector and offers some competition to industry giants, Pepsi (PEP) and Coca-Cola (KO) (2013 Annual Report.)
Organics began at a local produce stand in 2001 in Washington with the formation of a farm cooperative. Early products for sale at the produce stand are unknown, but it is assumed to be carbonated drinks. Participation in the cooperative required local farmers of fruits and vegetables to share production costs and bottling costs. The revenue earned was invested back into the cooperative so it could increase growing area,

There is also an equal emphasis placed on the sustainable farming initiative. In its mission, Organics pledges to “offer healthy, plant-based, soft drink products from sustainable farming activities made with only the most wholesome ingredients” (2013 Annual Report.) In the 2013 market, this was an insightful mission as both the healthy/organic products (Gagliardi) and the sustainable farming products were taking off (Roberts). The Organics mission also makes mention of relationship building within local communities. This will create goodwill and brand loyalty in the consumer, but only in those local areas. Additionally, the company’s emphasis on local markets and environment may be pulling focus away from sales and profits, the primary concern of professional traders in the US Stock Exchange. This is corroborated by a gain in the traded stock price of 1.7% over 2013 when the earnings per share were 5% over the same
On December 5, 2012, Daisy Luther, a journalist from Northern California wrote a blog entry on the conspiracy surrounding “certified organic” labels that is claimed by some companies and retailers. She brings up the question of whether these labels being stamped on food can really be verified or are they just a way to empty out the wallets of consumers. In the website The Organic Pepper, the blogger generally gives advice for different problems people encounter on a daily basis. Through her blog entries varying from ways to stay healthy to frugal living, Luther states her opinion of governmental interference on our food supply by citing sources from articles from Natural News and Time Magazine. She first starts out by arguing about how the
Organic is always associated with chemical-free production. However, does the word “Organic” on a label mean the product is indeed organic? Eliot Coleman in his article, “Beyond Organic”, published in December/January 2002 in the “Mother Earth News” magazine, claims that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has become a threat to the organic farmers. Coleman starts to grab readers’ attention with his personal experience, providing strong facts about organic food, and applying some emotional appeals; however, his audience is only convincing for organic farmers but not strong enough to convince the ordinary organic consumers.
Management has shown their abilities over the years to weather the recent EPA changes and declining wood stove market. While their profit margin for return on assets decreased, they managed to still increase sales enough in their niche market to increase their asset turnover and in the end, increase their return on assets. Even with major deficits in their retained earnings, the company worked through the tough regulations and low cash flow to not only continually grow their business, but turn
The author’s purpose in this chapter was to inform and to persuade about organic food. He explains what is in these organic TV dinners, “I found one such TV dinner that included thirty-one ingredients were synthetic additives that are permitted under federal organic rules.” He is informing us because he is giving us facts how organic TV dinners were permitted by federal organic rules. He also explains why whole foods don’t have pesticides to keep the food healthy, ““But if you look a little closer you’ll see that something has been left been left behind. The organic food in stores like Whole Foods is organic because it is grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides.”
Catherine tells the reader that organic food could produce plenty of food for the whole world. She says “when the same products are grown, organic yields are 8% to 19% lower on average than conventional farming yields... We currently grow far more food than is necessary.” (COFFtW).
Pop Rocks and soda have a very interesting chemical reaction with each other. Soda is a very pressurized drink that has carbon dioxide in it. Carbon dioxide is a pressurized chemical. When it is shaken, it fizzes, and causes pressure, and overflows releasing the carbon dioxide. It is similar to the Pop Rocks.
Many people choose to eat only organic because it’s said to be healthier but when compared to non-organic food the difference is slim. Regardless people continue to buy organic products. People get emotionally connected to

Organic Food In the society where people are getting more concerned about one 's health organic food has become a widely spread and followed by many people tendency. Organic food is believed to have better impact on person 's well-being and not to cause harm to people and the surrounding world due to its ecological nature. The debate that has been recently developed around this topic cannot be solved easily since both supporters and their counterparts provide reasonable arguments supporting their positions. However, to get into the problem and find the answer to a question that concerns many people it is necessary to identify organic food at first.
Organic foods are grown with natural fertilizers, and they have many advantages; organic farming always helps to make the environment better, and organic food is always fresh (Robinson et al.,2017). In the interest of good health, quality and sustainability, farmers prefer to work hard to meet the standards of organic food. When somebody chooses the organic food, they are helping the food producer or farmer as well (Wholefoods Market, n.d.). In addition, the number of people who prefer to eat organic food is increasing and demand for organic food is probably going to be large in future as well.

if the purpose is the foundation of the company with its employees, then the trust of the consumers will follow. Consumer consciousness has shifted from what product is being offered and how it will benefit the consumer to how the product was made and how it affects consumers as whole, this means that consumers are aware that the choices they make about brands will the affect the choices of other consumers. Brands with an authentic approach to brand purpose, can expect to increase their brands to be the most valuable ones. An authentic brand will be ineffective if it's not communicated to the outside world accordingly, the purpose being a brand has to manifest itself internally, and form part of the culture of the organisation, so that the
