The main goal of conducting the software quality assurance in software engineering is to ensure that developed software complies and meet with defined or required standardized quality specifications. Therefore, for any organization to make the reliability of their software to be high, it is necessary the software quality assurance technique should be adopted during the development and maintenance of particular software systems (Rosenberg, …show more content…
This includes the process of assuring that standards and procedures are established and are followed throughout the software life cycle. Software Quality Assurance involves the entire software development process. This involve the monitoring and improving the process, making sure that any agreed-upon standards and procedures are followed, and ensuring that problems are found and dealt with . The main objective of quality assurance is to minimize the cost of guaranteeing quality by a variety of activities performed throughout the development and manufacturing processes/stages (Alsultanny at el, 2009). These activities prevent the causes of errors, and detect and correct them early in the development process(Rosenberg, 2002).
