The hypothesis of this experiment is that if a solar cell is exposed to increased ambient temperatures, then the power output of the solar cell will be decreased.

An increase in temperature applied to the solar cell produced a reduction in power output as predicted. The controlled variables such as light, solar cell and consistently taking the temperature readings from the same spot on the solar cell, are very important to the outcome. If these steps are followed, the outcome of data will be the same as in this experiment. If other experiments of this nature are conducted, and the outcome of the data is not repeatable, then the light source should be evaluated and the proper functionality of the solar cell should be tested.
