Every day, we need energy power to do the simplest tasks of our daily life. For example, using this computer, I need electricity to have it on and write my essay, or wash my clothes and have it clean for tomorrow. That is why we are dependent to non-renewable energy or renewable energy that is not as much efficient as it needs to be. One big option that we should see and improve more is the solar power. Our sun is so much powerful that has existed for many years and has another five billions years of life and hydrogen fuel to burn off, so the sun is a renewable energy source that will not disappear any time soon. For that reason, we should make a shift and use more solar power that other sources. Currently, less than 1% of all the energy produced and used in the United States comes from solar energy. We should consider the many benefits that solar power can give us and how this can improve our lives for good in a long term way.
One powerful benefit, and I believe the most important of all, is the good impact that will have for our environment. Right now, we are having a huge problem, climate change, which is altering the temperatures of our planet and making the poles melting and this can cause several floods in a lot of cities next to the ocean. Fossil fuel, coil, and natural gases are making so much carbon dioxin that is damaging our

The cost of the panels it may not be accessible to low income people, but the last five years the prices for solar panels has dropped an 80% which means if more people is interested in the future, this technology of solar power will become accessible for everyone. As with the prices, if the demand of solar power increases, energy storage and transmission can be improved making the problem of not enough sun in a cloudy day no longer a
There are droughts, floods, acidifying oceans, dissolving coral reefs, and faltering plankton stocks caused by those things (745). All of these things can and will cause a devastating crisis in the world. The past, present, and the future have and will be exposed and affected by all of those things. Some of the insects we need now to take care of this earth and to help the animal and human population survive, may not be here in the future. The animals are getting affected by the environmental
Dental Hygienist There are many careers in the world that you can choose from and could have interest in. One career that I have found interest in is being a Dental Hygienist. Becoming a Dental Hygienist, you help patients develop and maintain good oral health (Home). Being a Dental Hygienist it offers many challenges.
While it is proven that solar panels are tremendously helpful in terms of reducing the use of fossil fuels, it comes with a price. Solar panels are expensive; solar panels are expensive to make, install, and maintain. While solar panels do eventually break even in terms of cost, this takes years of operation to bring a profit. Studies have also shown that solar arrays have the potential to cause changes in temperature and precipitation by altering the amount of solar radiation absorbed by the earth (Harvey, 2015). The biggest problem with solar panels is the cost.
A solar panel can be used for many things, but the biggest thing is used for capturing the sun's energy in order to make it useful provide energy to the house, buildings even be sold back to the city or town you live in etc.. It works by collecting the sunlight throughout the day, then converts into energy that's usable, then the electricity travels to the net meter then the energy is used for anything. When having the solar panel on a roof you can use it for personal use or even sell it back to the electrical company and they’ll pay you. There are about 73,000 terawatts of energy shining down that's 10,000 times then what we use on daily bases. Perks of having solar panels it's a tax 30% tax write off, doesn’t need any fuel combustion, Securing your energy and not depending on National
Population growth has continued to grow and people have continued to use up the earth’s resources. Climate change is an issue caused by humans and their disregard for the planet. Humans have used up so much of the earth’s resources that it poses a threat to all things living. Animals are becoming extinct and their habitats are being lost. Humans need to expand and build more places to live because there is not enough space for everyone due to population growth.
“A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people.” Franklin D. Roosevelt once said these wise words to make awareness about protecting the environment. There are many ways we can help improve the environment, and solar energy is an incredibly useful resource. Today eighty percent of the energy comes from fossil fuels, and about one percent comes from solar panels.
Drought It’s been years since water came out of my faucet and days since my last drink of water. Even if I did have water would it be worth the risk? Our people have become diseased. Our animals are suffering and we have to walk miles and miles until we find “adequate” water.
The earth is heating up 500 billion tons of ice will collapse. Then one and a half feet of sea level will rise and then the water would move 150 feet inland in Florida. If this keeps up the world will slowly but surely heat up. Without humans trying to help the environment the world could flood. Some of the problem is Human responsibility and how it is ruining the earth and how the environment and nature will fall because of Global Warming.
Gasoline and diesel are fossil fuels and aren 't infinite. Battery electricity are better, they don’t pollute and don 't burn fossil fuels. Instead of having a gas tank and having to fill it up at a gas station, these cars have batteries in their place and can be recharged with a larger charging station and needs 220 volts. The recharged batteries stay charged until the car is driven. Some people say that battery powered cars are slower, but it isn’t by much and battery powered cars think is worth slowing down a little if it means saving the planet.
When large storms hit land with these increased sea levels it causes large storm surges that can destroy anything in its paths. If temperatures continue to rise other natural disasters could occur ("Global Warming Will Produce More Katrina-Like Storms"). A warmer wetter atmosphere could spawn more tropical storms and there will be floods in places that do not get much rainfall. Humans could prevent these problems if they were to cut down on the use of fossil fuels and use more renewable energy. Renewable energy consists of wind, solar, and lunar power.
Overpopulation. It is a word that makes politicians wince, and is often described as the "elephant in the room" in discussions about the future of the planet. It is clear to all of us that the planet is not expanding. There is only so much space on Earth, not to mention only so many resources – food, water, and energy – that can support a human population. So a growing human population must pose some kind of a threat to the well-being of planet Earth, mustn 't it?Currently, we as a population use up most of the resources how we please, waste, and even pollute.
Although the scientists in the 1900s had warned the world about the shortage, many people still refuse to accept the idea that they will eventually be eventually using solar power as the only option. And each year, the debt from the consumer rate increases for every electricity company. For instance, as
The ever-changing environment that surrounds us is another influence of mine. The environment is currently suffering from pollution and we humans are creating a mass of it. Emissions from manufacturing plants, the burning of fossil fuels, and household and farm chemicals are all ways humans are polluting the environment. And this issue has brought upon great concern for me as well as many others.
It occurs due to rise in global warming which occurs due to increase in temperature of atmosphere by burning of fossils fuels and release of harmful gases by industries. Climate change has various harmful effects but not limited to melting of polar ice, changes in seasons, occurrence of new diseases, frequent occurrence of floods and change in overall weather scenario. • Loss of Biodiversity: Human activity is leading to the extinction of species and habitants and loss of bio-diversity. Eco systems, which took millions of years to perfect, are in danger when any species population is decimating. Balance of natural processes like pollution is crucial to the survival population is decimating.
For example, the rises of sea levels, glaciers, and polar ice caps are melting; numerous animals are emigrating to find other places to exist; trees are in bloom sooner. Scientists have confirmed that the temperature will keep on rising up for the next decades because of human activities in the industry (Alina). One of the biggest problems facing us now is global warming. It not only affects animals and plants but also the human population, which is indeed scary (Markham).
