Solomon’s Temple, MIZORAM
Origin: God has instructed Dr. L.B. Sailo, a humble servant of God to build ‘Solomon’s Temple’ in 1991. He was informed the detail design and structure of the Temple. In the year 1994, a piece of land for construction was acquired in the locality Chawlhhmun, Aizawl, Mizoram. The place is beautifully called as Kidron Valley by Dr. L.B. Sailos. The foundation stone was laid on 23rd December 1996.
The Objective: The Temple is constructed as a symbol of love of elects to our redeemer, Jesus of Nazareth. It is meant for the destitute and the spiritual thirsts among all races of mankind so that they will happily worship Him.
The Structure: The Temple exactly faces north, south, east and west. It is a square building

Inside the Temple the abomination of desolation will be seen standing on the holy place. It is written, “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand).” As prophesised in the revelation, when there is World War - III, the Dome of Rock will be destroyed by the nuclear war (a sea of glass mingle with fire), and Israel will then built the Temple using the readily available resources. How is the abomination of desolation standing in such place? The prophet Isaiah foretold that the Israel government had made covenant with them (Isaiah 28:15). So then, God had instructed us to build Solomon’s Temple in our country. In the Temple here, the abomination shall not stand in the holy place. ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your spirit,’ shall prevail.
If we read the Bible 2 Chron. 7:1 9-20, God foretold King Solomon, “But if you turn aside and forsake my statutes and my commandments that I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them, then I will pluck you up from my land that I have given you, and this house that I have consecrated for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all

With God’s mercy, the World War-I & II wasn’t fought within the land of Mizoram, therefore, it is befitting to call it as tower of the flock. And, it is rightful to call it as the hill of the daughter of zion by virtue of the Holy Spirit which periodically visits or permanently dwells in the land. Just as apostle Paul mentioned, “I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation; and by an unintelligent nation, I will make my people angry” (Rom. 10:19, Deut. 32:21), the Mizos are very small in population (no nation), a very foolish nation who couldn’t trace its roots historically, very backward in science and technology. In Ancient Egypt, the temples were all constructed from stone because the gods were to live in these temples for all of eternity and lack of wood. The temple walls were covered with inscriptions and images. They were often historical events, such as important events at the temple or of the pharaoh’s reign. The Temple of Dendur depicted Pihor worshipping Isis and Pedesi worshipping Osiris as well as Emperor Augustus praying and offering the gods. Traditionally, the drawings would’ve been of the pharaoh.
Constructors of the temple not only made a practical choice that the ceremonial behavior could be illustrated through architectural choices on a general picture of the whole temple, but also used a detailed art piece at the temple to clarify a particular story of human sacrifice to god. On the bottom of the Huizilopotchli’s side of the temple lies a volcanic stone monolith named the Coyolxauhqui Stone that demonstrates the story how the death of Huizilopotchli’s sister, Coyolxauhqui offered peace the god himself. The scalloping shaped details at the joint of her neck, shoulders and hips, along with the bones and skull that filled up the whole composition showed that she has been decapitated to death. The artists used high-relief carving to portray the dismantled body of
Monuments that are constructed in order to give commendation to people, places, or events are located all over the globe. It is very possible for someone to find a few in their very own town. Although there may be negative controversy on certain monuments, many throughout the world have changed individual’s lives tremendously in a beneficial way. One monument in particular has stood tall through it all and has had so much positive effect on millions of people from the beginning of time. One hundred and thirty years later this monument continues to impact people’s lives from all over the world.
In this chapter, Jesus is revealed as walking among the seven lampstands (representing the church), holding the seven stars in His right hand (representing the angels of the seven churches), His eyes like flames of fire, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword and His face like the sun shining in all its brilliance. He stands as the Judge of the whole
Are you visiting Rome? The city has many attractions. Vatican city, Colosseum, Stadio Olimpico, crusty thin pizza and many others. My personal favorite, and maybe the biggest attraction of them all is the Pantheon.
It's well-known for its impressive pylon (the entrance of the building), which is carved with images that refer to Ramses II's military campaigns and victories. The temple also popular because of its two large seated statues of the pharaoh and its huge Ramses II statue (which used to stand at 56 feet). Another example of these monuments is the Abu Simbel, which is a set of two rock temples in the Nubian region that were erected to celebrate Ramses II and his Queen Nefertari. The temples contain four seated statues of the pharaoh that each measure almost 70 feet tall.
The church had a common theme of three at the front of the church at the podium. There were three seats behind the podium, three levels at the podium, and three levels on a cross image carved out of wood that read Tithe.
While art varies in many ways, one can also easily identify many similarities between cultures. These similarities and differences have been seen and identified throughout history as art has continued to evolve. Architecture is no different, meaning although two grand structures were built on different sides of the world, similarities can be drawn between them. These similarities are consist of symbolism, architecture, and materials used in the structures. For example, the Hagia Sophia and Charlemagne’s Chapel both share similarities and differences through their histories and the architecture and decorations that make these structures so grand.
This evidently portrays the creators’ intentions in creating this magnificent building (for worship), as they were heavily influenced by religion. This architectural structure implemented for worshipping the gods is much like the ziggurats, created by Ancient Mesopotamian cities. Ziggurats are also religious structures in the shape of a pyramid, used to honor the gods. Thus, religious beliefs and ideas greatly influenced the artistic and architectural structures that were
Solomon decided to divide the kingdom into the districts so his kingdom can be more sophisticated as his Near East neighbors kingdoms. After Solomon became King he built a temple. The temple was devoted in a grand style. The temple was a home of the Ark of the Covenant that cherished Hebrew religious practices. The temple symbolized as the heart of the Kingdom.
Ramses also built the temples of Abu Simbel which are two rock temples these temples are carved out of the mountainside they were made as a lasting
Critical analysis of the Pantheon. The pantheon is a nearly 2000-year-old roman temple that still inspires architects and artist alike. The structure was originally built in c. 27 BCE and dedicated by Marcus Agrippa. Comprised of a 142ft wide 142ft tall rotunda under a coffered concrete dome connected to a Greek style porch.
They represent Jaguar (1st sun), wind (2nd sun), rain (3rd sun, and water (4th sun). Also, each sun shows the manner of death. Additionally, the first sun is comprised of death by jaguars, followed by high wind death, death by rains of fire, and death by water. The thing I found most beneficial to my learning was learning about the 5th sun. The 5th sun prophesied that death by earthquakes will be the death of the current world we live in.
Architecturally, it is a large white building with small orange domes that surround the central dome. To access the sacred space within the temple, one must first take off his or her shoes, and walk up a flight of stairs to the information desk on the left. After speaking to the priest at the desk, visitors to the temple are offered an informational pamphlet with descriptions of the sixteen deities displayed and welcomed to experience the many rituals that are performed daily. The sacred space is a lofty white room that lets in much natural light through a series of windows adorning its right and left walls. Unlike the Hindu Temple of Kentucky, deities in the Cincinnati temple do not have separate shrines, but are instead displayed under an elaborate central shrine that stretches across the length of the room.
Over the course of the past two weeks I was able to design and create my own personal totem pole. Although it is relatively small in size and composed of a paper towel roll, the totem pole consists of many symbols and elements which are significant to me. The totem pole is separated 4 segments. The top segment consists of a beaver. The second and third portions are an eagle with its wings on the side.
