The book The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan had many different themes, but in my own opinion there are three main themes that i think are very important. To start out with, friendship was one of the main theme, because on page number it states "You guys (Percy and Hazel) are my best friends. I trust you more than anybody." To point out, they couldn 't have freed Thanatos with this theme, they used friendship to their advantage. Sacrifice is Another theme that I think is important, because Reyna says "You (Percy, Frank, and Hazel) need to sacrifice yourselves and save our world."
