Problem and Objective
Problem: Sound booths and sound dampening materials are used in the recording industry to produce high-quality recordings of music that people listen to on iPods (MP3s), CDs, and the radio, in movies and via the Internet. Without high quality sound dampening materials, music tracks would be mixed with environmental background noises from outside. Engineers developing various sound proof structures are constantly concerned with the products’ ability to reduce the amount of sound entering and exiting their structures. In a recording studio, the objective is to create an acoustic space (sound booth) that is able to isolate that space from all outside noises. Therefore, the sound waves generated

1. How does your redesign data compare to your original data? Include data/evidence in your response.

2. Looking back at your final design, what factors influenced the sound waves absorption, reflection and transmission?

3. What materials, besides the ones used, might better dampen
C2 – 220nF This value was chosen in order to produce the desired frequency of 570Hz. C3 – 68nF The above capacitance produces a desired frequency of 1.838kHz. These frequencies were chosen in order to emulate the distinct sound of an
This pair of loudspeakers can also be used as the center channel for any surround sound setup. Each loudspeaker measures 13.5 by 12.4 by 11.8 inches and weighs 13.3 pounds. Inside every loudspeaker cabinet, you will find a 7-inch woofer and two 1-inch tweeters. These internal components are engineered to provide a complex audio experience with robust bass notes and pure-sounding high frequencies. There is no need for a separate loudspeaker enclosure because the loudspeakers’ infinite baffle design utilizes the space above the ceiling.
2. How did you determine which design was used? The design was determined
Unit Four - State Hearing Question 2 The filibuster is essential to good governance in the United States. By nature, this arrangement works to protect minority rights, encourage compromise, and prevent impromptu legislation. Although indispensable, the filibuster must be reevaluated and modified to prevent impotence in the Senate.
1. Create an applied research project. a. Identify what type of applied analysis you would be conducting (process evaluation, outcome evaluation, needs assessment, or combination of any of these). This is a needs assessment analysis that targeted an old model of issuing identification cards to abuse victims trying to leave their abuser, which was problematic because of the time it took to issue the cards and the methods it employed requiring the victims to prove who they are. This assessment, evaluation of an old government model was to determine if the new model was more effective than the old model for this particular program and if the officials tasked with issuing new and or replacement identification to the women and their families
13. What were the acoustics
So these would tend to have more reflections building up, to see that the biggest buildup is in the 400Hz band gives an idea how these materials can influence each other to resonate at a lower range than the previous
In addition, the biggest issue was trying to figure out what will work and what will not. Covering all this information in six weeks is a challenge, however, if each step is followed each week then it makes the process easier. If the steps are not followed, then the research proposal might not work because there is a process and for each step in the research process guidelines are put in place so that the correct decisions can be made for doing a research proposal. Furthermore, there are guidelines for data collection, data measurement, and levels of measurement to name a few examples. For my proposal the mixed method is being used and this does fit for the topic and the research might provide additional information when the research is
I broke down each methodology to provide the resources involved, time to implement, and licensing fees to show an estimate on how much each one would cost the company. In addition, I knew growth is in the future plans of this company so I wanted to make sure the product I recommended was scalable so they would not have to spend more money in years to
Just imagine, life with no sound. Weird right! Sounds are the little noises heard at night and during the day. They are minuscule.
Analyze the problem. iii. Refine the problem. • Utilize these three steps as you define the researchable questions. III.
Open-open had .647m and the open-closed had .630m of distance. The tube with the least percent error and closest to the actual speed of sound was the open-open tube with a frequency of 512
These sound included the ambient background, visual props sounds or Foley sounds, and musical tracks and characters voices in the
Sound of silence meaning One of the biggest hang ups we have today is inability of people to touch other people, unable to love other people. This is a song about the inability to communicate - Paul Simon Sound of silence is about a struggle to share and exchange MEANINGFUL ideas. The people “talking without speaking” and “hearing without listening” are too afraid to share their deep and personal ideas or consider the ideas of others. Sound of silence interpretation Interpretation 1 I find that this song isn’t only just about the ignorance and willingness of people to follow a set regime, but also about consumerism, with the “neon gods” being brightly lit adverts seen everywhere.
“ The Sounds of Silence” by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel presents a deep understanding and meaning of the topic that people lack the ability to communicate. Peoples thoughts are ordered by the media and forget about the true meaning of their own voices. Simon and Garfunkel represent this through the use of figurative language and poetic techniques which served really well to their song. Darkness is sometimes described as a depressive state to those who can't confide in no one and are all alone.
